OMFG.

Are you people for real?

Is the implication here that Bosa is above benching, or are you people somehow so clueless that you think a defensive end winning about 5 reps THE ENTIRE SEASON after becoming the highest paid defensive player in NFL history is acceptable? And jogging on plays close to him over and over again, which you idiots somehow also apparently missed?

This fan base doesn't deserve to win another Super Bowl. You people are a joke.

This is the most idiotic fan base in the history of professional sports. Not even close. You bash the players who play well, and then defend loafing turds like Bosa, who get shut down by no name OTs week after week after getting paid so much f**king money that it would result in a $62 million cap hit if the team were to cut them next year.

Bosa has been GARBAGE. Absolute f**king garbage. It's not even possible to do less than this f**king idiot if you try. But he's not trying, so that's the whole f**king point.

What do you do to motivate players? I mean, f**king Brandon Aiyuk, who was making peanuts, was disciplined for less. He was put behind Trent f**king Sherfield.

But you won't put this f**king roided up idiot on the bench to send the message that he's not just going to collect his enormous signing bonus and loaf because of his $1 million base salary not motivating him?

Now let's go back to talking about how Brandon Aiyuk is Jerry Rice or something, or how Deebo Samuel must be an amazeballs route runner because he had a single big year that was all run after catch on screens and soft angle routes into zone coverage. Or how Brock and Jimmy are CARRIED by genius Kyle Shanahan, who is in his 7th season and still can't find the "franchise QB" worthy of his greatness. Except for f**king Trey Lance, who can't hit the broad side of a barn and gets walked down by f**king defensive linemen trying to get to the boundaries.

Go die in a fire, you f**king turds.

Well then...

I am not arguing with you, but could you explain why?

This is a prime example of what I fear the most. The players are more into the allure of themselves and their fellow all pros rather than actually playing like all pros. "The player I'm supposed to be." Get out of here with that Nick. Just go out there and dominate and don't worry about numbers or perception.

It's like if a company stock starts at $20 and then 5 years later it's worth $500. Then it starts to dip back towards $300 and you start wondering why that's happening and get confused. That's where we are at. The talent is still there to be a $500 stock, but we gotta start grinding again and playing like it. We have no fire right now because the media, fans, and probably the players themselves were crowned too early.

He is saying he failed in opportunities where a player of his caliber(and salary) needs to make the play.

But he has not watched film to speak on other players, which he will never publicly speak on because he is a good teammate.

That's where I take issue. I think (just my opinion) in order to remain on top (in anything not just sports) you need to bring yourself back to the prove it stage. I think players after they get paid lose that urgency or prove it type feeling. I wish Nick as well as our other all pro players would think back to their highschool or college days where they dreamed of playing in the NFL. Sometimes you need to remind yourself where you came from. No one, especially on defense, has proven anything yet.

I think the issue is simply this: all the players are looking around at the other players going "wow we're stacked" and they end up slacking a bit. They're relying on the other guy. When that happens, no one is making plays.

We've got fans who think Jeff Garcia was some elite superstar QB. We've got fans who think Bosa is playing just dandy. We've got fans bashing Brock, and trying to revise history and pretending that Jimmy isn't the only QB Kyle won with besides Brock. We've got fans pretending Trey Lance and his wobble balls and 5.0 speed weren't given a fair chance.

f**k this fan base. I hope this team never wins another game. It's what you morons deserve.

You have to rely on the others to focus on your job. If i do not trust you to hold up, so i compensate, i then get beat in my assignment.
And yes i think most players lose that edge, you just hope they can recover it. But i am not so sure Bosa has lost the edge. I think he is being schemed out by the offense, and the defensive play calls are allowing it. Has he lined up inside or over the center?

I would like to see him just F up the chipper while the blitz overloads the other side. Making the tackle block air.
Line him up over the guard with Gregory outside and Hargraves over the other guard.
2.5 sacks (currently) / 7 (games) = 0.36 (per game average).

0.36 * 17 = 6.07

6 sacks projection at this pace by the end of the year.
