He's too worried about his drawer's!
Dude sucks
never coached to play the run with the w9. still gets pwned, 5tyh year in the league.
Change the scheme. Change the results.

Shanahan needs to send Wilks to the film room for the next two weeks and LEARN. Bosa is still the same player he has always been. Currently, he leads the league in QB hits. The difference this year is instead of playing a lot of press man, Wilks is playing a soft zone which allows the QB to get rid of the ball quicker before Bosa can finish the job.
Serious question as I'm undereducated on the subject. I paid pretty close attention to Nick this game and he had several plays where, on obvious passing downs, he appeared to be less concerned with getting around his blocker and more focused on standing him up and maintaining gap integrity. I can't imagine he's mailing these plays in…did we change our pass rushing philosophy? Is that even a thing?

He doesn't attempt moves of any kind. Just bullrush every down. Has to be getting coached this.
We can change the thread title to "NB Paid Bear"

Teams seem to have been trying to bait him inside so they can go around him.

Also, I don't recall as many TE stunts from his side as in the past.

Try none. Throw him inside for a few plays just to show a different look. Do something

Yep. Too much reliance on 4v5 to get pressure. As good as our front four are, at some point, they are going to get slowed down.

What gets me is in his post game interview it was like non chalant (which he always is) that hey this team has been in worse spots in the past and did ok. But to me thats the problem they think they can just flip a switch and off we go. Thats the d am reason they have to play on the d am road every year. They have no seriousness.

This is kind of worrisome. Guys with these compact, super muscled up don't tend to stay dominant forever. Surely nick isn't cooked yet. It is crazy how he went from possibly the most disruptive player in the league to this
Is there a reason Bosa is always lined up super low to the ground compared to any other DE. Just watched his brother line up in a standing position make a great run stop.
