I'd trade this guy for a couple of good defensive backs in a heart beat. He went from DPOY to someone who is just above average. He can't pursue anyone from behind, get's neutralized often in both the run and pass game. What a waste of money. When you invest that much in a guy, they need to perform.

How quickly the collapse occurred is what I don't get. He went from unstoppable to unmentionable in about 12 games. It's mind boggling.
This thread is a great truth teller of who watches the game tape and who doesn't.

Barely made the top 20 in sacks

Seems pretty empty to me.

Dude is a ghost in the pass rush and has zero contain against the run. Completely useless last night against the Pack. Should never have given him that contract. Its the playoffs and your name was call once in the first qtr.

Stupidest, most ignorant post I've seen in a long, long time. He will probably be the all time leader in post season sacks. Already has 8 and the record is 16. Go sit in the corner

Take the rosys off. He was garbage last night.

He literally pressured Love into the game-sealing interception…

Yeah it's obvious this guy has an agenda. He's wrong it's OK there's plenty of Niner fans like him

Clearly we have different expectations.

You do not pay that much money for pressures. You pay that kind of money for a game changer which he was so many times last year. Bosa has been good but we paid for great.
Why are we moving the goal post for Bosa?

When he got the sacks last year we said that was who he was and he got paid for it. This year the focus has moved to "pressures"? He is not the same player that he was last year, he is being blocked one on one most of the time and often loses leverage on the edge. Similar to other guys who got paid and disappeared.

Deebo got paid and had a bad year and the goal posts stayed put, so I see no problem in pointing out the truth about Bosa.

Thank you.
Chase Young needs to step up. When Bosa has another guy causing problems on the other side he can make plays. Without that opposite element he just gets doubled and chipped. I wish Wilks would run more stunts. All we do is bull rush and hope the QB holds long enough to get collapsed on.
"we needed a win like this"

"we haven't come from behind in a while, against a good team"

"just helps you get more battle-tested"

This scheme is clearly different than last year.

I am equally frustrated as many but do realize this Dline is being asked to do different things than last year.

For better or for worse this is how Wilks "helped" "fixed" the secondary.
