Are you watching him play closely? Or are you just looking at those sack stats? If you watch him play, he's racking up a very high amount of pressures in each game that lead to disrupting QBs and has led to an INT or two. He's doing a very good job not just as a rusher but overall in being disruptive on a DL that's been missing some very key pieces due to injury.

Yeah, I've been hard on Bosa the past two years (before it was cool)but I actually think this is his best year since his DPOY season. Dude is getting a lot of pressure and playing well.
Might go over 1.5 sacks for Bosa on Sunday. If Kamala has won I would have picked the under

The problem is he needs to play more than just well. He needs to dominate because the rest of the line isn't getting a lot of pressure. It's not his fault but he's the highest profile and highest paid guy on the line so he's expected to do more.

I would have picked the over because he would have been upset

I could be wrong but I think SF is 12th overall in PRWR

I'm not sure exactly what is considered pressure. How close does the player need to get to the QB? How quickly do they need to get there? It seems that half the pass plays are under some kind of pressure. Sacks and tackles for loss are what stand out and make a big difference.

Sacks are a marriage of pass rush wins and coverage. Sacks should be looked at as a coverage stat while INTs should be a pass rush stat.

Sometimes that's true but other times the DB or LB just reads the play and steps in front of the defender. No doubt a good rush will make the QB get rid of the ball quicker but INTs happen even when the QB has all day to throw.

Yeah, I can't argue with that. I would like to see him completely dominate games more. He had one game earlier in the season, for some reason I can't remember the game , where I thought he was one the best player on the field. You are right though guys like Watt are doing it consistently. And like you said, he doesn't have much help atm.

That's a good point. There should be a differentiation between when a sack is considered a coverage sack, and when it's is from a dominant pass rush where the OL gets completely whooped by the DL. Likewise, when an INT is due to a rushed/off balance throw (pass rush), or when coverage is sticky.

I feel the same abut passing yards. Last night was a great example. Burrow was completing some deep throws for big yards. Jackson had an 85 yard TD pass that was completed behind the line of scrimmage. He gets credit for an 85 yard TD pass (the longest of his career) even though the receiver did all the work.

I don't know if this was the case, but what if Lamar recognized something and audibles to the screen? Then he should get the credit for 85 yards
Nick Bosa's recent injury is concerning. He is actually listed as questionable for Sunday. Kyle eve admitted to being concerned and said he was very limited in practice and wasn't able to do much. Now I am still expecting him to play but I am concerned how effective he will be if he is playing hurt.

After a Bye week to still be hurting isn't good. We won't have another chance for him to get healthy
