Maybe other people already heard this but the reason Bosa didn't really manage to sack Mayfield on that 4th and 7 ahold of his arm is he was afraid of getting called for a horse collar tackle if he grabbed his shoulder pad, trying to yank down. I'm sure I was thinking the same thing so many others were, why the hell isn't he sacking him already. Well the whole process of doing that and avoid a penalty isn't that simple. I thought all in all he actually played quite a courageous game. Playing through constant pain the whole time.

Oh is that what he confirmed during the post game presser? I was like just tear his arm off and get his ass to the ground, Bosa. What the hell are you doing? It felt like Warner and (i forgot who it was) the other linebacker getting schooled by Mahomes down the sideline because they didn't want to get flagged.

Bosa needs to do less political campaigning and more helping his team win.
And when yesterday he did the Trump dance after the sack?
When you get hurt and play poorly the week after you make a political statement, it's a bad look. From either side. Just like when Kap decided to make political statements when his play was declining.

We are in the stretch run
The defense would struggle big time without Bosa out there. With some tough games coming up, I'm not sure now Is the time for resting him.

Without him the defense would be beyond horrific. He is the most important player on defense and probably the team aside Purdy and even with TW.

It tells me that the main thing isn't the main thing anymore. Or our priorities aren't what they used to be.
I got my contract, now I can dive into the political world. I can still be a good player but my focus makes me not elite anymore.

I'll take Bosa's word that his hip was bothering him. He's never shown that he was a guy that didn't go 100% on every play.
Well he was on a tear the weeks prior to the Bye week then gets hurt a few days prior to the game. And suddenly he wasn't as disruptive and looked to be in pain. I say him being hurt is true.
He was clearly gimping all game. I mean TJ Watt literally did absolutely nothing yesterday against a backup tackle. Nick at least had a sack(should've been two), 4 tackles and a TFL. He still showed up albeit inconsistently.
Yeah but it's also the NFL sometimes you have a bad game or teams gameplan against your best player. Doesn't mean a player is suddenly bad. Usually when teams are on their back up tackle they will game plan to negate a pass rusher even more with doubles and quick passes.
The Bucs didn't start the game with a backup tackle. Wirst got injured and Skule had to come in. They didn't have time to game plan. Brady mentioned several times that leaving Skule one on one with Bosa was a mistake. If Bosa had been really healthy he could have had a huge day.
Bosa is not the same post contract.

What does it matter when I joined the forum?
Would you agree or disagree that Bosa has not been the same player since his contract?

he won DPOY. it's probably not realistic to expect him to win DPOY annually. last year he was a pro bowler, with double digit sacks. and they had a hard time filling that spot opposite him. famously Young and Gregory didn't really pan out. that means he gets all the attention on the edge. he really makes his presence felt out there, as one of the top edge rushers in the game. you pray to draft guys like this, homegrow em and pay em. outside of QB, getting after the QB, may be the most sought after skill set in pro football.
