I would rather shut him down and keep him fresh for next year.

LMAO what.

He will have 7 months off to get "fresh" for next year.

He was given a massive contract. He's not being paid to sit out. His ass needs to play.
I see him not playing
What to do?
This season has been doomed since it started lol
Very quiet on Bosa. I don't see how he can have that injury on both sides and allows play. They say he over compensated on the then good side to take some pressure off the injured side. No where to compensate now and I doubt it magically heeled.

Hate to say it but this may be the nail in the season.

Last thing I want to see him to is overextend himself this failed season that would result in him injuring himself and suddenly not be available fully for next season. We should be more focused on making a big push to go all out next season. I think Kyle needs to it to show he is still the man for the job. He needs that Superbowl win and we are not in a good position this year to get it.

This sounds like a behavior of a man made of glass.

He's the highest paid defensive player in football. The entire NFC West is playing terrible so there is a chance the division winner won't win more than 9 games. They need him in playing, earning that paycheck on every down.

That is cowardly loser talk. When the going gets tough you get going huh. I can't imagine any player with an ounce of competitiveness would be willing to do that. But we sure have fans that would.
Bosa has a passion that many players can only wish they had. If there is any chance he can play, and play effectively, he will play. He has already said that he feels he is not getting the results he expects for himself. Much of that is the failure of officials to call holding penalties. But aside from that, he WANTS to be on the field. If he can go, he will. Right now it looks sketchy.

Me too 😄 I would rather tank the season than have lasting injuries for next year. Sit Bosa, CMC, sign Greenlaw to a 1 year extension. Let Brock play out next season then sign him to what he's worth or pay him 60 million a year whatever is best.

Sucks but this season is not how we wanted it. Let's look to the future.

I don't like either idea.

Almost no injuries linger into next year at this point unless it's a torn ACL or Achilles maybe and even an Achilles at this point might not since Dre is almost back from doing it in February. Guess it would depend on how late it happens. Brock tore his UCL in the championship game and was ready to go Week 1.

And injuries like that could happen regardless whether we're 5-5 and "tanking" or 9-1 and fighting Detroit for the #1 seed.
Seeing today what a huge impact he has on the defense
