That being said, 49ers probably shouldn't have paid him, his brother is known as a contract year player and it appears Nick is the same.

Yeah, I can.

He was paid to be an all-pro and no longer is.

I would trade him in the off-season if the team is going to continue to de-emphasize running the ball and stopping the run.

No use for a pass rusher when you are constantly behind in games.

Yeah the defense looked much better without him out there. SMH

Bye bosa. His play in the superbowl vs how Chris Jones played? Bosa NOT a big game player. Move on. Highest paid defensive player was a huge mistake

There's a list of reasons for why we lost that Super Bowl

Nick Bosas effort isn't one of them.

The defense hasn't looked good with him either.

It's all about return on investment. Do you think the organization is getting a positive ROI from Bosa since he signed his new deal? I don't.

Yea, kind of crazy seeing these high paid players tapping out and underperforming.

Bosa was clearly better when he was hungry.

Deebo, Kittle, & Ayuik are the highest paid blockers in the league by position. If we aren't going to use these guys or if the are going to under perform, bring in guys that can do what we need them to do.

We should trade him to the Seahawks. Try and saddle them down with that contract. Or the Chiefs yeah send his ass to the Chiefs.

No no no these guys are convinced having Nick Bosa on the team isn't worth the money. I mean anyone with any football intelligence would take Nick on their team but we should trade him to our rivals since he's such a detriment to our team cause some dudes on a forum think he's soft, injury prone and just not good.

Yes. We all have opinions but you would think having a top 3-5 DE in his prime would be logically positive lol

You'd think? But the internet has exposed us all to a special breed of thinking.
Jesus. No one is saying Bosa isn't a good player.

The question is if his play is at the level it was in 2019 and 2022 that matches up to his high-end salary.

2 games without Bosa and we allow 30+ points. Stop looking at just sacks totals and look at pressures. You're blind if you can't see the difference Bosa makes on this defense.

You guys are easy to please I guess.

Bosa was given the most guaranteed money ever for a defensive player in NFL history off a tremendous 2022 where he had 18.5 sacks, won DPOY was 1st team All-Pro and finished 6th in MVP voting.

Since, he has 17.5 sacks in 27 GP and baring a major turnaround this year will have not made either 1st or 2nd team All-Pro in any year since his new contract.

That's good return on investment to you?

He's a top-5 edge defender and is one of the best in the league against both run and pass at a premium position. His pressures have been there this season but sacks are down, but I would say that has more to do with the rest of the line and the DBs than Bosa.
