You can make the argument that the Bucs had JPP, but they also had Suh. The last 4 winners of the SB have all had Top DTs. I bring this up not to s**t on Bosa cause obviously hes doing well, but maybe the DE isn't the most important part in winning it all.
It's about having a defensive line unit and depth. Having a stud like Bosa much like the Broncos had with Von Miller is a great first step. But he needs to have a counter punch like Miller got with Ware. There's a lot of phenomenal DTs in the NFL who can't even sniff the playoffs (Jarrett, Pancake eater in NY) so it's not a position group that automatically elevates your squad but pressure up the middle with pressure on the edges is the ultimate cheat code on D.
He just is not elite along with TJ Watt, Garrett. The fact he held out for the most expensive non QB contract and doesnt deliver consistently is disappointing. It is aggravating to read threads of WBzer Bosa Homer's making excuses. He is suppose to be elite. We shouldnt have to go find another elite edge rusher to make him better. It's the other way around.
You just said everyone on the Lions Dline is better than Bosa on your previous post. So your football opinion means as much as Casey Anthonys parental advice.
