It's great when people all start being picky with our Star players.

Our defence was pretty ordinary this year, without Nicky Bosa it would be even worse.

It still should not happen. He sort of seems soft.

And he whines a lot.

Speaking of whining a lot

Bosa had a poor year. He disappeared for long periods of time.

He played injured for a lot of the year though.

At least he got on the field.

They don't care. He is expected to be super human lol

He's paid like he is the best.

He plays like one of the best.

They think this is a video game and he should have 25 sacks a year.

They gonna be real pissed when Brock is getting his bag and not looking like Josh Allen
I'm shocked that you find Nick's on-field performance the last two years acceptable considering his salary compared to his season in 2022 BEFORE he got that salary.

I don't think anyone thinks he's not good anymore. I think people like myself have been very disappointed with his play the last two years knowing what he's capable of.

It's better than to debate people who only look at box scores for if the player is playing up to the standards they don't hold for themselves all while worrying about other people's money.

What evidence do you have that I only look at box scores? You seriously think I don't watch the games is really funny to me.

So I'll ask you, do you think Nick's performance is at the level it was in 2022?

No he was slightly less effective. But was still a top 10 pass rusher in the league who always plays with full effort, has sound gap integrity and was a leader for this team. And yes I think you only care if he's getting sacks and scoff at the idea that pressures are very effective way of showing a players true pass rusher ability.

I never once said that I think that getting sacks is the only way to measure a player. I DO, however, think that QB pressure is a subjective stat, whereas sacks and QB hits are more black and white.

I also agree with you that he is a top 10 pass rusher in the league but now closer to 10 whereas he was the best in football in 2022. So yes, in a salary cap world where salary and production together matter, it is a big deal when a player's performance declines.

Sacks are the most hollow stat on defense.

There isn't a single person that thinks Nick Bonitto and Kyle van noy are better than Nick yet they were 3rd and 4th in sacks this yr.

Bosa was top 5 in PRWR this yr.

9th overall pass rusher amount all DL according to PFF

SF ran more 4 more rushes than anyone else, never f**ked blitz. Dude had no help anywhere, was consistently dealing with double teams, and still got pressure like a mad man.

this plus this:

Shows we have a top 5 Edge Rusher and top 10 DT Rusher in Bosa and Collins.
Bosa Rocks.

lets hope he stays uninjured.
