Is this a Lynch problem? A Kocurek problem? A DC problem? Whatever it is we need it figured out.

Playing opposite Bosa should be one of the easiest jobs in football, you never get chipped and the line never slides towards you. To be fair you usually have to deal with LT's, but it is just them.

I thought Bosa was effective without being great last year, he got a lot of attention, which he usually does, but no one else was winning when left alone. Getting one more lineman that does will get us back to good, finding two and we'll be great. We need to get back to pick your poison. Death by Bosa, or death by the rest of the line when you focus on Bosa.

Ebukaum & Omenihu DID work. But we couldn't keep paying them because they outperformed their contract....

Do you want to keep doing that? Keep rolling teams cast offs for cheap? If they're good you can't afford to keep them, and if they aren't you don't want to?

At some point we have to find one of our own, at least that'll be 4-5 years before you have to let them go.

Easily the new group, and as you said not really close imo.
out of both of these groups, jj watt is probably the least conventional edge player.

he played at edge a good amount especially late in his career but he started as a 3-4 DE and played 3tech as well as 4/5 tech around 60% of his career snaps versus around 40% playing 6/7/9 tech

JJ over TJ

Garret and Kalil are a toss up

Bosa and Jordan toss up (Jordan better against the run, Bosa better at getting to the QB + a DPOY to his name)

Parsons over Von Miller (Miller had only a few very good years. Rest were good but nothing great)

Jones over Hutchinson as of now, but that can change inna couple of years, since he's only played 3 years.

I'd say Garrett over Khalil but Miller over Parsons

Micah Parsons over Von Miller is crazy. I could be wrong, but I don't think Micah will sniff a season like Von Miller in 2012, or a playoff performance like Von Miller in 2015.

recency bias or did people legit forget how good Von Miller was?

I agree with this, plus I'd take Bosa over Jordan.

That's the problem with this list because it's adding guys like Parsons, Hutchinson, and even Nick, who's resumes so far are no where near the other guys.

But if I could pick between those two, I would take Parsons. He's able to be moved around a lot more and even drop in coverage. While Von was basically always lined up over the RT.
