The man played at St. Thomas Aquinas in Florida, who's teams are consistently 70 percent black and Ohio State is also a majority black team. If he did not have issues there, he won't have issues here.

The Patriots have won multiple championships with super conservative "racist" players (by the standards of outraged Twitter) and conservative Trump supporters and no one really bats an eye.

Twitter and other social media has amplified the idiocy of teenagers and college age adults. These are the prime years where people often learn how to couch their institutional prejudices by meeting and learning about people who weren't previously in their social circles. If we forever ban people for life from society for offenses made when they were this young we are saying we don't support experience refining moments in people's key social education years.
