Don't let him walk, he might get hurt.

Not getting this one,...are you traveling down the p_____ topic most of us here can't flirt with, or are you saying something else athletics-related that was over my head?

Just got an alert on my phone that someone posted one of the words from the prohibited list. If it has nothing to do with football it does not belong in this thread.

Thank you for your understanding.

You act like we need to have a private conversation with the doctor. The GM literally said it's high ankle "components". That is a high ankle sprain. I don't know what else to say man.

I think basically what you're saying whether it's an extremely severe high ankle sprain,...or an extremely light high ankle sprain,...it's still a high ankle sprain...

....it's just that people freak out at the sight of the term and don't like it (kinda like injury prone, maybe?) and would rather just term it something else.

But the "High" part refers to the LOCATION of tears (vs. Low),....NOT the severity of the tears.

If he's jogging the next week...that has basically nothing to do with what they found on the MRI and we dont suddenly change the injury name.
People want to link supposed/rumored severity to the medical term and just aren't understanding I guess?

Was it because I said the book was attractive?

Ah. Those all suck. I've had level 1s all the time. Within a week I was ok.

GUYS,

in sports, when you're often injured you ARE injure prone!! it stays with you especially IF you're often sidelined because of whatever injury.. we don't hear this TAG to other players because some plays thru injury.. but even if you just happened to be standing on the sideline after a year off due to a KNEE INJURY, and someone falls on you and you get hurt and be out for the weeks, months, season, you will be under the label of INJURY PRONE..

NO WAY AROUND IT..

Was a long day, just winding down. Let me check the bosa thread........
The 49ers drafted Reggie McGrew and Kentwan Balmer in the first round. They sucked. However they also drafted Bryant Young and Dana Stubblefield with first picks. B. Young played and started in 208 games + playoffs and missed only 14 games in 16 years! Dana Stubblefield missed only 3 games in his 1st 5 years with the team. They were 1st round picks and lived up to expectations. Why shouldn't Bosa be held up to those standards or be questioned for his (lack of) play in practice and college? I would never question if a veteran was hurt or faking it because He has paid his dues but when you are the new #1 pick guy you better come in with your balls on fire. Even Solomon Thomas has started 25 out of 30 games so at least He shows up.

I want to see Bosa be as good as those two of those former 1st round picks I mentioned. It is up to him to show us whether He will be like B.Y. and D.Stub or like Balmer and McGrew.

That is what I want to see Mr. Bosa do and if He does that I will never call him Snowflake again. Is that asking too much?

Again, come back when a 300lb lineman falls on your ankle, and then try to play football.

He only missed last year due to injuries, played first 3 games before leaving to get ready for the NFL. He never missed anything else in college, he isn't injury prone. He had an ACL injury in HS, then played the next year.

When I was banging the drum for Bosa, I never projected him as a 16 game starter. All I care about is how he does in January.

The jury is out for 49er fans and there are two verdicts, one, Bosa is injury prone, two, he is not. I'm hoping for the best and watching a defense that will be top 5 with Bosa being a monster.
