I don't want to appear judgemental or anything but if Bosa keeps up the frequency of his "minor" injuries he could become an early favourite for the 2019/2020 Golden Handbag Award. Not saying he is injury prone or anything...

Relax people. At DE, he needs that ankle to be 100% to anchor and bend. If that thing is weak and gives out again you're going to lose him for most of the season. Don't rush him back. Ford will be back in a week and Moore looks good against the run and pass so far. If he needs a couple more weeks, take it. Bye week is week 3.

WOW! I think I know someone who said something similar to that!

WAIT! It was me!!! YAY!....yay!!!! YAY!!!!

You do know that depth chart is made by the PR department? I don't care about depth charts, I care about snap counts. If he's playing in nickel situations and hitting the qb that's all that matters.
Bosa out of his boots. Don't rush him. Don't rush him...

Just make sure he's 100% by week one

Yep. This would be my approach, If I were the head coach. We can't rush him back and have it linger all season.

He's a professional football player and you're calling him a snowflake...it's not your "knowledge of toughness" we're questioning. Although it seems like you're specially proficient in internet toughness.

And unless I checked Barkley a running back is very rarely going to be in a situation where he's engaged with a guy trying to block him as a 300 lb man falls on the back of his leg.

How many times does Barkley block in pass protection? How many of those infrequent snaps is he blocking where all the big bodies are? It's not a toughness situation. It's a luck situation.

Don't worry considering I have the #1 overall pick in my FF league and will be taking Barkley his luck will likely run out today...cuz that tends to happen with the first picks I have.

How many times is TACKLED by several 300 LB linemen. You are a joke.

Welcome back SteveYoung.

Second...do you understand the difference in being tackled when you're expecting contact vs being locked up with another player where your foot is planted on the ground and having someone huge fall on the bag of your leg? If that foot stays on the ground it's a serious injury 99% of the time considering if someone is pushing you backwards from the front and a huge man is falling on your leg from the other direction...there is not much room for error.

Snap crackle and pop...it's biology and physics. Running backs get tackled and most of the time there isn't another person pushing them in the complete opposite direction.

Honestly I'm not sure if it's him but the posting style is similar. I'll be good I promise
Not sure if anyone has posted this, but I found this little nugget on Reddit. Has a link to a cool Youtube video explaining the high ankle sprain and how it pertains to Bosa.

Nice video but a few things wrong like Nick having the ACL injury and the others within 3 years.

ACL was his senior year of HS.
3 years at OSU

So he really only had 1 injury in 3 years.

He also didn't have a hamstring tear. Just a small strain.

A strain is a tear. A muscle "stretch" that causes injury is literally small tears in the muscle fiber. That is why there is an injury. It is the only reason there is an injury in the muscle. The more severe and extensive the tears (or "stretch") the higher grade it gets (ex: 1, 2, 3).

What you should say to defend Bosa is that "it was just a grade 1". Saying it wasn't a hamstring tear is impossible. Otherwise, he wouldn't have had an injury.

If he just "stretched" his hamstring but didn't tear it... he would just be in yoga class.
