I'll be disappointed if we still aren't generating pressure
I do not have high expectations. Sorry, but I do not believe in Saleh. DC is what makes the defense. Bosa most likely will only play on 3rd downs until he's 100%.
He said he's had no residual swelling after multiple practices. And they wouldn't let him even hit the practice field if his MRI showed any signs of damage. He's 100%.
Would be tremendously dumb of the Niners to let him play at all if he wasn't fully healed.

Serious question. Are you a doctor, nurse, tech, etc?

I'm not a doctor so I have no clue.

I'd like to know that as well...seems pretty knowledgeable. I will point out, he did said there was zero chance he would be 100% week 1

LOL. We also had a bit of a disagreement on severity of Taylor vs. Derwin injuries, but he definitely seems to know his s**t.

I'm talking about conditioning. Can't really condition when trying to heal the lower body. Don't think he can handle three downs.

I did, that is correct. But if he has no swelling and a clean MRI he will be 100%.

Probably not, no. You're right. Then again, I would assume in this particular game that will be the case with just about everybody on the DL.

I wonder how well Bosa will adjust to aligning at a 9 technique. I'm not gonna pretend like I've watch a lot of Bosa film, but from what I've read and little of what I've watched, he seems to excel when he can quickly get his hands on the offensive tackle. Being in a 9t does not allow the pass rusher to do this. He has to first close the distance from his wide alignment.
Bosa excels when he fires off the ball and gets his strong hands on the OT, then low pad level, strength, and slipperiness to get past the OT. He's not blowing by an OT with speed, he needs to make contact with the OT. It's not that I don't think he can win from a 9t, it's that I think he may be a better off playing from a 5t where he is naturally closer to the OT and able to quickly initiate contact. Something I'll be watching for, his reps at 5t versus 9t.

Yeah, will definitely shed a tear or two.
