You can definitely tell the ankle was bothering him on the second play. It'll probably continue to bother him until he can get some extended rest, which he hopefully can during the bye.
TE's are easy work for Nick.

I don't know if one week rest will make much difference. If he plays all the games up to the bye he may make it worse or it could work itself out. You never really know with injuries. They can rest him during the week if they think that will help because he doesn't really need a lot of practice.
Played as advertised. Like the #2 overall pick and the soon to be winner of DRotY. Can't ask for more than that.

It definitely helped Bosa to have Ford on the other side because Ford was all over the backfield constantly.
I was very impressed with Ford also

Oh yeah. Ford was the best player on the field on Sunday in my opinion.

Aldon helped make Fangio look good. Bosa is going to do the same thing with Salah.
^^^ that's what I am saying, the D is better because we have better players now not because Mr. Clean is a great coach

It is nice to have that dual threat on the field, however. Think about it! This was his first game ever and he played like everyone hoped and dreamed that he would.

Providing he can stay healthy and stay on the field, can you imagine the beast he will grow into by Game 8?

This team is going places. Provided the key players can stay healthy, the 49ers are back and they are for real.
I think they will continue to have Nick a LP in practice so the ankle can heal even more so. He played 57% of all defensive snaps yesterday, so it seems like they didn't wanna overwork him. A "not 100%" Bosa is one scary MF.
Boners for Bosa, more excited about Nick than I was for Aldon
People really celebrating almost sacks?

I think it works both ways. A coach needs the right players but then he has to get the best out of them.
I liked Bosa's comment after the game when they asked him about missing Winston on that early chance for a sack. He said "I have to learn when to fire my guns" meaning when to use that last minute burst.

They're called pressures, and they matter. Making the QB uncomfortable on every play is the key to success on D.
