According to PFF, 49ers DE Nick Bosa led all qualifying NFL edge defenders in pass rush productivity in Week 1. Not bad for an NFL debut. That and much more here: https://t.co/NgRWtdyL8P

This dude is a monster and was blowing the guy several feet off the line regularly. You could clearly see his ankle isn't 100%, which is absolutely terrifying if your the opposing guy. I was good with Williams or Allen in the draft but it's clear as day why this, guy was the undisputed first pick. Murray I think was a reach, Bosa was clearly the guy.

Bosa was great.
I am still concerned that he will stay healthy given his play style and history. Hopefully there is nothing that will eventuate to ground my concerns.
With Buckner commanding double teams, Bosa will have a lot of opps to pad his stats. Much like Aldon had Justin. They will take their chance with Bosa because Buckner is coming from the middle and the shortest path to the QB is a straight line, if you don't stop it, he flushes the QB out, forces to take his eyes off the downfield and maybe miss the DB he didn't see lurking or float an errant pass to not get sack like yesterday.

Best way to keep Bosa healthy, make sure he plays next to a dominating DT like Bruckner. That way he will always be single blocked.

And Ford now flying in as well. Damn we got a nasty line! I love it. I've been dying to get back to something that could possibly resemble the Young and stubblefield days.
It is good to see he is reasonable modest and is acknowledging he was not perfect re hesitation and different mindset to rushing in NFL compared to college.
This attitude will lead to growth as he reflects and analyses each game. This is the key to his transition to the NFL and development to a truly great rusher.
