It's going to fun this year watching Nick go at it with Kinlaw, Ford and AA. Top 5 defensive line, IMO.

Then again, I haven't watched the Three-peat game against the New York Giants, even though I have the VHS video of it stored away.

IMO - he was ***HELD*** big time. 49ers have to put teams away like they did during the dynasty years. How to do that? Kyle is the key here. His genius in finding offensive stars from scouting KMart and Costo part time employee stocking clerks *will* be the difference between a Dynasty like the Pats and just another one-time super bowl run like the Harbaugh brothers.

P.S. that Lombardi guy is one hell of a smart commentator.

I've moved on past the game but one narrative that still drives me crazy is when KC fans or fans of other teams try to act like the game was called equally for both teams. That is a major no f*cking way.

I also hate that calling that narrative out somehow ends up as somehow blaming the loss on the refs. That's not the case. We didn't lose the game because of one call late in the game where we had no chance to overcome it(that was more Baltimore SB). We still had chances to make plays after the big blown/non calls and didn't get it done. We lost.

But the game was not called equally for both teams. Not even close. If the NFL wants to just say "ok it's the SB so just let them play"...then f**king do it. Don't decide to only call post snap penalties on the 49ers with the Kittle OPI and Moore DPI. If we're not calling other obvious should be calls then those two definitely could've been not thrown. Rudolph wasn't flagged for a more egregious push off in a TD that literally won and lost the game for teams in the playoffs. And KC DBs had way more egregious holding/DPI on our guys earlier in the game with no flags thrown.

If you want to ignore normal rules cuz it's the SB then do it for both teams. Don't pick and choose.

Also by ignoring OL holding you're severely handicapping one team over the other.
49ers strength is their DL.
KC strength is their mobile QB with a big arm and speedy receivers.

Tell me which team gets a much bigger advantage if OLs are allowed to hold with no concern for flags?

This sh*t needs to stop. You either call the game the same way for both teams and if it's not INCREDIBLY obvious then hold the flag or you call it like you would a regular season game.

F**king agreed, NFL has their favorites. And if we make the sb again and play someone like Lamar Jackson I can see the same screw job happening

Hi.

Holy crap Trent Williams got even bigger
That wasn't holding it was a mugging. All game too smh. Then you call Staley for a holding then to see a fail call encroachment and a roughing the passer helmet to helmet non call.

Hi.

please dont jinx him.
I miss Buckner. Without him demanding constant double teams, Bosa was double or tripple blocked on almost every play. We did not have the same push up the middle, and it shows. Hopefully Solomon Thomas and Kinlaw will step up their game.

I hope part of the lack of pass rush was more out of respect of Murray and rushing with discipline than it was a forecast of how the season will go.
