There is zero evidence or McG being good inside...if anything he would be worse given what he has issues with.

I don't see Trent going anywhere, also I said IOL not OT. Would be f**king trash to draft an IOL in the first especially given an opportunity to draft higher than we should be because of injury

So bad lol

So far that K-Mart strategy isn't working though.

Tomlinson and McGlinchey still can't pass protect, Brunskill and any C are playing like ass...

They're bringing in Ansah. It's unfortunate that it took Bosa getting hurt to sign this dude. SMH.

agree on getting some protection for Jimmy, but what we lost yesterday was our franchise edge rusher. Dont know if we'll ever get him back 100%. Hope the MRI has some good news on a rather weekend (despite the win) if you ask me.

This injury situation is beyond ridiculously insane.

ACL isn't the end of the world...he's already dealt with it and looked more than fine in college/last yr.

If we get another opportunity to get a high that expected pick because of injuries, we'd be throwing that away by drafting a IOL if Jimmy G doesn't bring it up another level I'm looking at QBs

It's two weeks man....also who you drafting if they end up drafting top 10 to play IOL?? Name me some prospects worth that type of draft capital? I'll tell ya NO ONE.

SF just put 31 points up with a JV team.

Guys I was just kidding about the sacrificial knee thing.

Jimmy played very well yesterday. Though the Jets quite possibly could be the worst team in the NFL. Jimmy long-term should be fine, but his mechanics need addressing. Against Arizona his feet got away from him a bit. Yesterday though he seemed on point even with the injury. He was largely stepping into throws, and seemed very confident.

As far as Bosa's ACL, it is early enough in the season that he should be able to come back next year if rehab goes well. We have seen so many players recently come back from ACL injuries and maintain their performance. I am not overly concerned about it. It is disappointing to lose him for this year, but he will be fine in the long run. The team just needs to make sure they do not rush him back into action next year and that he is fully ready to go.

I still can't believe Bosa tore his ACL - seems like a bad dream.

It's a scenario worth talking a out, if SF somehow ended up with a top 10 pick because of a Bosa torn ACL and overall just too many injuries to overcome....it would be a kick in the dick to waste that pick on a IOL

If anything they should look at QBs.

Trey Downe will be the optimum answer. Especially without top end edge rushers.

they could do worse. no one can fill nicks shoes.. you just need someone more than respectable.. i i assume they will find another guy to replace thomas.. to find someone on his level or even a bit above should not be hard at all. and yes. the team may have to get creative with the money cuz they are in no position to quibble

If you have a shot at Lawrence/fields/Lance I'm making a move...If not as of today I would move down over taking any IOL

We will see. I think at some point QB might have to be a thing for them.

Agreed. Med technology is always improving. It's not 1985 and he's not 32 years old. Should be fine. Whether he's got AP's 9 month recovery abilities remains to be seen, but that may be too optimistic.

I do like Lance and I really like Chase but he would be a waste here until we have a QB who will attack outside the hashes.
Couldn't sleep last night. I know injuries are a part of the game but this team continually gets bitten by the injury bug to top players. It seems unfair. Couple that with the fact the division is by far the toughest in football.
