But to NY's point, if there isn't a high quality one around 15, don't reach for need either.
But this extends far beyond debating about taking an IOL. We might actually need much more than that. This OL is playing like trash right now.
My point is drafting a IOL top 10-15 is disgusting and a waste of Bosa's ACL.
Now OT is different. That's not what I've been saying though. There is no IOL worth that price tag. None

Apparently the muscles in your leg and calf can make up for it.
Again I don't think any doctor today with the advancement in the surgery would say don't have it. But back in the day I guess so.
They don't usually remove the ACL for athletes since the knee would be really unstable and make it hard to play a violent sport like football. They usually do reconstruction using material from tendons or ligaments from another part of your body like the other leg or the calf. The rehab takes about a year so we probably won't see Bosa until next season is under way. He probably won't be able to do much in camp. He's gone thru this with the other knee in high school.

How did Hines Ward manage with out an ACL for so long? Easier for a WR?

LOL someone crashing into the team plane, the MRI truck breaking down, multiple impact players getting hurt week 2. If this isn't the football gods telling the Niners to cancel the revenge tour because the team is too talented and that they need to stop going against the history of the runner ups from last season, then I don't know what is.Originally posted by mattster03:Originally posted by Hysterikal:Originally posted by Rocket4989:Is it a torn acl ?

No, it was the classic torn ACL - plants leg, knee buckles.

When Nick Bosa finally had his MRI today, it confirmed an ACL tear. Something that doesn't help this year but will be talked about a lot early next year: The timing means he should be able to start the 2021 season on time.
