I don't feel good about Bosa's injury. When he got hurt, it looked like a load-bearing issue. Similar to Saquan where their ligaments just couldn't hold up against the pressure. Both have huuuuuuge quads so I wonder if muscle mass had any impact on the ligaments not being able to sustain the load. You know, the reason why bodybuilders would take HGH because the steroids made their muscles so large that their ligaments couldn't keep up.

Wouldn't that be more of a concern if it was a non contact ACL tear though?

I thought it had more to do with his leg getting pinned and being bent backwards

Agree. I was in the same boat and it sank this last season.
if we just had competent qb play, we likely make the playoffs. mullens was so bad, maybe beathard wins us a few more games
with no bosa we had no pass rush. with no pass rush. our secondary was exposed. no,. his injury was what set our terrible year in motion. my god, with the injuries . we were not a playoff team at all, and of course no matter the qb. the o line was just horrible and we had no run game. a playoff team is laughable in my opinion

We just need to freaking stay relatively healthy. You add any one of:
Bosa
Jimmy
Deebo
Kittle
Raheem
To this team every game and were sniffing playoffs
Is it too much to ask for to have all 6 of them stay healthy or miss the minimum of only one frickin game.
Dear football gods please give this team health and Super Bowl!!

I think it likely Bosa will be good to go, given what we've heard. But I agree with you, I would like to see them use 12 to get the best DE or trade back and still find a quality fast DE to work into the rotation. Bosa is young, so I think that will help him in his recovery.

I was looking at a website yesterday concerning football injuries compared to other sports. They looked at high school, college and the NFL. They said about 49% of all injuries happened in practice or during workouts. 51% happened during games. Keep in mind that this was at all 3 levels. It does show that serious injuries can happen quite often without ant contact. Jimmy's knee was a slip that could have happened in practice.

Any current reports on his physical status? Will he be ready for OTAs?
