I stayed out of this thread during this whole talk about the vaccine, I don't care what he thinks about it, I may disagree with his political views, but I love him as a player, I just want to see him out there, don't care, like I said, his feelings on things, his rights to do so, anyway, I think Bosa would have a better shot, due to sacks, while Fred will lead the team in tackles, the whole stat that people look at is Sacks for defenders.
All i know is that Nick is the one guy, who if he got nailed with covid , would break our back. Man i am glad he got VAXed…or at least started. When he went down last yr…the air just got let out of or tires. And it went downhill rapidly after that…what an incredible "disasteroma" of ugly health/injury run we had after that. It would be hard to take losing Nick again this yr , this time to covid.

Didn't we still have a top defense sans Bosa? Not that I'd want to play without Bosa, but we still looked pretty darn good without him....
But please please stay health this year Bosa

Well we did, until one day we had one starter on the DL. At one point i think all but one of our starters/rotational DLs were on IR or PUP. We had guys starting at one time or another who had just joined the team. Initially, game 1…we did look "lights out". But that quickly vaporized.
It would be nice to think we have that all in the rear view mirror. But i don't want to say it and then jinx us.

Don't get your hopes up. Bosa is injury prone and has only played around half the games he could have played with us if he wasn't injured. Time to draft his replacement before he gets injured again. I bet he plays only a couple of games this year and gets a high ankle sprain or something

I just hope we can stop talking anything other than football in here, or any thread, no off the field stuff, unless it's something good, like a player in the community, then let's talk about it, but if politics or COVID, take it to the PL. I care about the players on the field in here, if I want politics or COVID talk I'll go to PL or Facebook or Twitter lol.

I don't think you can seperate the two right now. An unvaccinated player has a huge chance to miss games this season based on having a close contact.
Bosa getting vaccinated could be enough to add a W to the column.
