Reminds me of the Bruce Miller hold in the SB. Just absolutely blatant. You can't call every hold but you'd think that one's like that would be an automatic flag.

I agree that you would think that would be called. What I don't know was did the official have a good look at that or was his vision being blocked. It's a lot easier to see those holds on a monitor that it is on the field surrounded by guys that are 6' 6'' and weigh 320 lbs. I suspect that their view is often blocked or they're looking at a different spot on the line when it happens. That's why you see officials get together to see if one of them had a better view.

I'm not trying to make excuses for the officials but I don't think they try to favor one team over another. The action is fast and it would be easier to miss holding and illegal blocks when you're right in the middle of everything.

I agree they can't call every little holding but they should throw the flag when it changes the play. I think they are getting pretty grabby with Bosa and he would at least be putting pressure to throw early or off target on those plays
You'd think refs knowing what happened in the SB would be more likely to keep an eye on how teams "block" Bosa
then again knowing how the NFL loves to f**k us lately they're probably going out of their way to ignore it.

Shanahan needs to get this stuff out there in the media and push them to call these. Even if it means taking a fine.
The NFL wants QB's to dominate. It maximizes league popularity and profits. They will continue to ignore most holding because of it. Bosa is just going to have to fight an uphill battle.

I remember years ago some college players getting busted cause they were spraying each other down with cooking oil on the sideline during the game, lol

Didn't the Cowboy J.Smith coat himself in a little grease before games? He also wore those tiny pads and jersey that was 3 sizes too small. Veteran moves.

I wonder if a way around it could be just using a ton of sun lotion. And just say it's a medical thing

That´s why I couldn´t care less about the end of the match at Detroit. There was the Kittle´s mistake on the onside kick, Deebo´s fumble and those obvious as f**k holdings on Bosa and the rest of the D-line. You´re telling me that suddenly Jared freaking Goff can have half an hour to make a throw with that D-Line in front of him after 55 minutes of total misery? Honestly that´s the one topic I would want Kyle to go balistic specially after the superbowl.

This is common sense, yet the way fans are you'd think they lost

Why doesn't kyle take an ipad to the refs and say….how about a holding call on my #97? I'm serious.. show those jokers what they are allowing to happen. Surely if they were showed two of the Bosa holds on consecutive plays they would have to do something. I think kyle is missing a bet here when the holding is egregious.
