I can't find the screenshot, but thl posted an image of the total snap count from yesterday. Apparently, Nick Bosa leads the entire DL in total snaps. How the f**k is this happening? Oh, I know how it's happening. Ebukam ain't doing s**t. Kinlaw ain't doing s**t. Ford barely plays and isn't the same guy. Armstead has actually been solid, but he's not the type of player you can depend on to consistently get home.

Bosa is is coming off a torn ACL, and he's having to take the lion's share of the workload. It's inexcusable. The dude is getting abused out there by double/triple chips. When he gets hurt again, the 49ers have nobody to blame but themselves.

Azeez Ojulari fell to us twice and we took a f**king s**tty guard.

another reason why you shouldn't overreact to OTAs and preseason.

"Embarrassment of riches" at the DL. What a joke. Surely, they look good because they're going up against our porous offensive line.

Did Bosa play the second half? I didn't see him on any injury list

Yes, he was getting chipped or doubled on just about every single play.

The other guys have to step up.

So he was out there?

He needs to get used to it. That's life in the NFL for a star edge rusher.

Eh. Bosa's still making his presence known, but can't blame the 49ers pass rush for yesterday. Aaron Rodgers was throwing the ball in 2.15 seconds every time. We have young cornerbacks, but we need to adjust our play that if the ball is coming out that quickly, then cornerbacks need to adjust their coverages. There's probably not going to be double-coverages to worry about. Yes, there might be something over top, but gotta challenge those receivers.

Not counting Ford because right now he is on a limited snap count, I think Willis is our 2nd best pass rusher. Unfortunetely he can't help us until after the bye week. If others don't pick it up we have a couple of guys on the PQ that had great camps. Like Alex Barrett, Darion Daniels, and Eddie Yarbrough. All 3 of them had great training camps.
Our hopes really are relying on Maurice Hurst to come in here and finally get some penetration at that 3 tech

Lol our fans never cease to amaze me
DeMeco should consider moving Bosa inside on money downs because Javon Kinlaw is giving them absolutely nothing, especially if teams want to get the ball out quick. The shortest path to the QB is from the interior, and Bosa is fantastic at winning with his first move.

We will have Hurst soon hopefully he gives us something

It won't matter, the OL will just hold on for dear life just like they do every play and the refs won't call it unless its "obvious".
Teams have been doing this since week 1, and it's only going to get worse as teams realize that nobody else on our DL makes them pay. Worst of all is the physical punishment will eventually take its toll on Bosa's body, and he will break down. DeMeco should absolutely consider sliding Bosa inside on rush downs, especially since they're getting nothing from Kinlaw.

Sliding Bosa inside and making him play a different position than he's accustomed to because the rest of the line sucks would be idiotic…but Demeco Ryans has looked awful so far, so he may do just that.

This isn't anything new. Saleh did it with Bosa. In fact, he also slid inside at times at Ohio State. A lot of teams do this to get their edge players 1-on-1s with a lesser athlete and to avoid the chips. Browns' were doing it on Sunday with Myles Garrett.

Not a bad idea. Just run some stunts with him coming back outside. plus he'll draw the attention of the guard and tackle. they gotta make an adjustment.

i've literally never heard of an elite pass rusher being taken out of a game because of being chipped by wrs and tes throughout a game. of course this only happens to us.
