I think most DE's just figure out a way around it, all good DLinemen get chipped. Guy is still developing and it's technically is 2nd season playing so he just needs some time to figure it out. Maybe he should check out some video's on how Khalil Mack overcomes it with some extreme brutality.

Mack doesn't overcome it when the QB gets the ball out under 2.5 seconds.

I'm more concerned with the chips that keep knocking him off his feet that have been an issue since his rookie year. He was chipped on the goal line sunday by a WR and knocked him on his rear and completely took him out of the play. Not the first time that's happened.

I want to see him figure it out, maybe a speed rush like TJ Watt uses to get around the chip or power his way through like Mack does literally charging and tossing the player attempting to chip him into the turf before they get a chance to hit him like a Trent Williams escort into the endzone while initializing their pass rush on the QB.

That's a different scenario than what Nick Bosa is facing. Khalil Mack got matched up with TEs in that clip.

Bosa is getting chipped by RB/TE before having to deal with the left tackle. All great edge rushers struggle in this scenario, including Khalil Mack.

DeMeco should absolutely consider sliding Bosa inside on rush downs, especially since they're getting nothing from Kinlaw.

Sliding Bosa inside and making him play a different position than he's accustomed to because the rest of the line sucks would be idiotic…but Demeco Ryans has looked awful so far, so he may do just that.

Good to have Nick and Dee out there together again - just a matter of time before they're eating again.
It's confusing to me to see people try and reinvent football. These aren't new ideas people are coming up with. Moving edge rushers inside, chip blocking them to slow them down, double and triple teaming stars. It all comes down to execution and winning your battle. Some games you can do it, some games the opponent does it.

Not taken out, moved inside. Peppers used to do this all the time, Suggs too

I'm starting to think you're just talking out of emotion and not rationale.

If Bosa spends more time about worrying about chip blocks, he's going to be late to the QB. In a game where the QB and playcalling is asking for the ball to be out very quickly this is a lose lose situation. Either he watches out for the chip and is a step late or he's risking getting planted.

And when was this in the game? Surely you're not talking about the player where Lazard holds him as he comes inside?

He got blocked by a WR #13 and taken out of the play.

I think he should just be attacking like TJ Watt or Mack do. Just go 100% into the chip and make your move.

So where in that clip is he knocked on his rear?

He got put on his ass when the Packers motioned a TE near him where Nick probably didn't even see him in the area since he was looking at the ball to get his jump.

That play Nick does go inside and should've kept the edge(although that's assuming it wasn't the call for him to go inside) Lazard hooks him with shockingly no call.

It's amazing how much he gets held and doesn't get a call...he's got to throw his hands up and play it up more .

Dee is done. He needs to retire.
