I think most DE's just figure out a way around it, all good DLinemen get chipped. Guy is still developing and it's technically is 2nd season playing so he just needs some time to figure it out. Maybe he should check out some video's on how Khalil Mack overcomes it with some extreme brutality.
Mack doesn't overcome it when the QB gets the ball out under 2.5 seconds.
I want to see him figure it out, maybe a speed rush like TJ Watt uses to get around the chip or power his way through like Mack does literally charging and tossing the player attempting to chip him into the turf before they get a chance to hit him like a Trent Williams escort into the endzone while initializing their pass rush on the QB.
I'm starting to think you're just talking out of emotion and not rationale.
If Bosa spends more time about worrying about chip blocks, he's going to be late to the QB. In a game where the QB and playcalling is asking for the ball to be out very quickly this is a lose lose situation. Either he watches out for the chip and is a step late or he's risking getting planted.
And when was this in the game? Surely you're not talking about the player where Lazard holds him as he comes inside?

I think he should just be attacking like TJ Watt or Mack do. Just go 100% into the chip and make your move.
So where in that clip is he knocked on his rear?
He got put on his ass when the Packers motioned a TE near him where Nick probably didn't even see him in the area since he was looking at the ball to get his jump.
That play Nick does go inside and should've kept the edge(although that's assuming it wasn't the call for him to go inside) Lazard hooks him with shockingly no call.
It was a TE my bad but still shouldn't be happening.
TE with a MASSIVE chip on Bosa at the top of the screen. Sneaky to motion him in from the outside, I'm not sure Bosa ever saw or felt him since he's staring in at the ball the whole time. Also looked like it was going to be a T/E and he was planting to head inside when he got hit pic.twitter.com/53Ey157TYL

So maybe don't post like it was a fact if you're not sure?
First it was a WR who put him on his butt near the goal line which led to a score now it's a TE on GB's 17 yard line.
And what do you want Bosa to do here to avoid the chip? He's looking at the OL/QB trying to get the jump on the snap. TE comes in motion to the side of him where Bosa (as also indicated in the tweet you quoted) couldn't even see him.
This is like getting sucker punched and you're saying "well he should've seen it coming and blocked it"
Great in theory but not realistic in execution.
Bosa himself owned up to part of the issue...which is when it happens you gotta get up and try to make plays anyways.

It takes is some communication from a team mate to make Bosa aware of the motion player coming into the slot. Then if that slot player wants to chip Bosa, Bosa should lay him the f out. Let's see if that player tries it again.
