Well… alright then. At least he's honest.

He had an absolutely dominant Super Bowl despite being held on every play. Hes just being honest about how caught off guard they were by a supposedly weak OL. He's the last guy I'd call soft.
(Edit - myself, being soft, I assume comments of his alleged softness is just humor and sarcasm . If not, here's to you:)

Such bwave posters poking the bear behind the online cover.

It's probably safe to say none of you who call him soft have achieved much in the short time since he's been in the pro's.

The only thing soft about him is what you would leave behind after he just looks at you.

(Spoken behind the veil of online cover, lol)

I'm ready for him to become a household name and top 5 player in the NFL now.
Bosa brothers know what's up...dude was getting held all last night...same with Nick.

Refs gotta do a better job and calling a fair game. Your LT can't block him then that's a you problem, can't pay these dudes $20M a yr if they're not gonna get those calls.

IMO the NFL is instructing refs not to call offensive line holding especially towards the end of games. The NFL wants to see the wild comebacks and high scoring games because it puts people in seats and watching their TVs. Do people want to see Pat "face of the NFL" Mahomes mount a great fourth quarter comeback even though their line held most plays? You bet they do. Same situation last night with Bosa being held. The Raiders were trying to mount a comeback and the refs weren't going to stop them.

It's been an emphasis recently, NFL also said they want to see less holding calls.

Tbh, I'm on the fence on this topic. Let's face it, you can call holding on almost every play. And it's really hard to judge what holding call should be called or not. How blatant does it have to be? Should it be exactly by the rule book? It really is hard to officiate holding correctly, it's not as cut and dry as an offside or false start.
Bosa getting doubled like crazy

Side note: Joey is so f**king good.

100% our Bosa feels the same way
Why is joey bosa complaining about the refs? they are doing EXACTLY as instructed by their bosses. The league doesn't want a bunch of holding calls putting the offense in difficult situations. They want scoring, points, yards, exciting plays, etc.

I assure you the refs are not blind. They are doing what they're paid to do by the owners/league.

Let's hope this opens their eyes and they start making the calls. I'd like to see Nick do the same. If Joey wasn't having to apologize for the unsportsmanlike at the same time it would go a lot further.
