Bosa is a big reason I have hope for this D going into each game. The guy's just flat out a playmaker. Even when he's not the guy making the play, he's forcing the other team to deal with him w/ double teams, chips, etc.

As the season goes on, I expect to see the other guys on the DL making more plays, more sacks. Ford has been doing his part so far on a limited "pitch count" (he spoke about that this morning on KNBR - managing his number of plays each game to ensure no setbacks as his injury is a delicate & complex one to deal with if he wants to keep playing, which he really does from hearing him talk...very well-spoken guy and I'm curious if anyone else heard him this am?).

Bosa brothers know what's up...dude was getting held all last night...same with Nick.

Refs gotta do a better job and calling a fair game. Your LT can't block him then that's a you problem, can't pay these dudes $20M a yr if they're not gonna get those calls.

100% our Bosa feels the same way

Let's hope this opens their eyes and they start making the calls. I'd like to see Nick do the same. If Joey wasn't having to apologize for the unsportsmanlike at the same time it would go a lot further.

I wouldn't Bank on It. I doubt the officials care too much about what the players say or think. It's just the way the league Is now.
you gotta let the officials know before the game, tell them to keep an eye out for being held, and then i hate to say it, but you gotta sell it.

You also need a HC that rides the refs all game. Not belligerent like Harbs but more than what kyle does. He needs to call them out regularly when they refuse throw the flag.

Thats really what it is. Sell it strategically. If it was a play that still resulted in a stop... be low key. But on 3rd downs or crucial plays just go the soccer route and act like you got shot. Brees was the master of this as a QB. If he made the pass he wouldnt care, but if it was a miss he would act like he was out for the season. (Until the ribs) Gotta pick your shots to make the refs believe you. Plus Bosa needs to start playing the refs better as well.

The key to this play is the overloading pressure package that made Seattle's protection have to account for a body, which left Nick Bosa on an island with a two-way go.

Nick's going to win those the majority of the time.

lol Edge rushers expecting more calls in a Protect the offense type league nowadays... Watch them call even more against them now.... and look the other way when the whole line could be holding one edge rusher....
I think it's safe to say Bosa is back.

John Wick style

I love Bosa. He's a great player and one of the best edge rushers in the NFL.

But does that even matter anymore? Now that the NFL has unofficially elminated offensive holding on passing downs the value of an EDGE has diminished greatly. It's made picking Bosa in 2019 almost a wasted pick.

I don't know, it's like whenever the 49ers get a talent advantage the League immediately neutralizes the value of that talent.

He needs to fight through it and not "feel sorry for himself," like he has been doing.

He needs to throw up his arms and complain to the refs more to have a chance of getting the call.
