Both guys were fantastic before the injury.
Can't say the same for Kinlaw.
Good run defender. We know Kinlaw was raw..maybe he can develop properly with the 6 million dollar man ACLs.

The interesting part was when he said in his rookie year, he was "trying to win every time". I think he is referring to not using his best move all the time. Like how a pitcher will throw bad pitches on purpose just to set up the strikeout pitch later.
Charles Haley had two interceptions in his career, Bosa already has one in only his second year. I can see Bosa getting sack numbers in the mid teens or more this year, if Arden Key comes along. In one of Bosa's sacks, I think it was Key that speed rushed outside and drove Trevor to step up, and Bosa nailed him for a sack with an inside rush. George Seifert built his entire defense round Charles, and I can see (hopefully) Demeco doing the same thing around Bosa.
Kocurek is like Seifert in my opinion. I think in this day and age of the pass happy NFL, if you don't have a guy like Kocurek that can specialize in terrorizing QB's, you don't have a decent defensive coaching staff. Glad we have Kocurek because he's getting ton's of production from relatively low round draft picks and even undrafteds (Kerry Hyder).

"Unsurprisingly, Nick Bosa led the way for San Francisco's pass rush with six pressures."
PFF recorded pressures for Bosa for the game - 5
Have they ever actually owned up to what they consider a pressure?
Stats are kind of a short (kind of lazy) way to analyze a particular team or player, in my opinion. I think what Kyle does - in watching lots of film - is really the right way to see what a team or a player can do or correctly assess them. But that's Jonny Dell level kind of work, and nobody but JD and Kyle have that kind of time. Me I have to spend most of my time eeking out a living in the most expensive place in America.

I Appreciate Kyle's dedication to film. He never fails to identify talent. Even Joe Williams and Pettis were talented. Just gotta get better at determining worth.

Totally agree, it's the stuff Kyle can't **see on film** that bit him in the butt -- in the past.

To those saying we should wait to extend him, that's not a good idea, if we do it this offseason, we'll get him at a more affordable price($30M a yr is a lot), and if we wait, his value will only skyrocket. You get that deal done in the offseason along with Deebo's, those 2 are must extends.

On like half the replays he beats his man badly then has to run while being in a chokehold from behind.
