Who was that?
Azeez Ojulari
Hate this draft more and more each week but I'm also not stupid and realize most of these guys can't be judged off without playing or barely playing

Not just that, but he's 2 off of T.J. Watt for the league lead. I would love if he could get the league lead before the season is done.
1. Watt 16
2. Garrett 15
3. Nick 14
3. Robert Quinn 14

Bosa has likely been the hottest the last few games so he seems to be just finding his stride down the stretch here

I wanted Azeez also knowing how unreliable or injury prone Dee Ford is. And for Nick, what a game wrecker!!! STUD!!

He also needs 5.5 more sacks to pass Aldon for the all-time single season sack total. I think he has a shot at that. As for the season lead Watt and Garrett are more than formidable so we'll see.

For anyone who wants to credit Shanahan for anything...look at what he does without Garoppolo and Bosa and what he does WITH them.
Now JG is a hotly contested discussion and that's not what we're here for. And I admit, we know his ceiling which is "pretty good" and his floor which is "not good at all", and the inconsistency and inabilities that lie between the two.
But Bosa...my god. Bosa is the reason this team went to the Super Bowl. He's the reason they won against Cincinnati. He's a one man wrecking crew. And he's one of the only first round draft picks this regime hasn't screwed up; thankfully because they would have had to try REALLY hard to mess this one up.
Bosa is even better than the numbers. One year removed from ACL and he makes no excuses; he looks even better than he did pre-injury. A physical specimen, a tactician, and still improving each game.
Thank god we didn't draft Quinnen Williams.

Only going to get better when his knee gets even better. That must be a scary thought for opposing QBs he still going to face. Bosa rules!!!

Does anyone know why Bosa was not credited with a sack in the second quarter, with just under 10 minutes,as he forced Burrow out of bounds for a 2 yard loss to make it 4th and 6?

Don't know, but it may be corrected this week. I actually think it may be credited to Armstead.

I remember thinking about 10 seconds after Jimmy's knee injury... "well, maybe we'll get Nick Bosa out of all of this..."

You might be right, couldn't find a replay of it online i know there were a few niners close by but thought nick ran him out of bounds.
I also thought it was strange that burrow took a 3 yard loss rather than just throwing the ball oob?

It goes without saying, but Nick plays 130% every snap of every game. Chokeholds, hand holds, doesn't matter , he just lines up and does it all over again. I guess it is akin to putting your car in neutral and pushing it as far as you can every single play…with the car trying to choke you while you are pushing it.
Can one even imagine the calories that burns up during a single game? My God the guy must burn 10,000 calories a game…and he just NEVER stops. Our MVP but all he does is walk to work , brings his lunch pail, and never complains. Never. What a phenomenal athlete and what a phenomenal person.
