LOL at people complaining Bosa didn't do much...he was constantly double teamed, chipped, and held. It's the job of the other DL players to take advantage of one on one situations so I'd argue that if anyone had a poor game it's the rest of the DL.

It's literally one person. Don't lump people in with him.

The way he's hyped up on here, yes, you would expect a game wrecking menace. He sniffed out a screen once, which was a really nice play. Other than that he did nothing.
Just admit you don't actually watch the games and everyone will leave you alone, man lol.
It's clear to me that most of you guys are so in love with Bosa that you refuse to admit that he's not always amazing. This is like the Jimmy G obsession most of y'all had, except Bosa is really good.
All I'm saying is that Bosa was not dominant last night. We needed a great performance out of him and he didn't provide. He's been pretty average the last few games. I know it doesn't fit the "zOOomMMgGg Bosa best ever he's always being helddd loolllll best player in the nfl BOoosaaa" narrative most of the mouth breathers spew, but then again most of you guys have no idea how football works so I shouldn't be surprised.
I didn't think you knew much about football…..this confirms that.
Always has terrible takes, bosa literally had a great game last night as he did the entire post season.

Says the guy who thinks Mac Jones is a top 10 quarterback.
In general, this fanbase is very whiny and has little football knowledge. Kind of sad to see so many devote themselves to a game that they don't fully grasp.

Bosa thread doesn't hit the bottom even during the offseason.

Wondering what's his cap hit after we lock him up this offseason.

Since coaches don't count against the cap, let's sign him as a D-line coach and pay the man…

I just don't get why we have to resign him this offseason. He was a first round pick, that means he's technically ours for 5 years. Should be next offseason.

Because he is going to be more expensive next season after he wins DPOY

It's so Bosa isn't playing in 2022 with no contract for 2023. It's doing the player a solid by giving him the security of a long term deal. The 49ers can wait until after 2022 to negotiate, but now the threat of franchise tag comes into play and players don't typically like that.

Next year would be year 4 of his contract, and 1st round picks the team has a option to pick up the 5th year. I definitely wouldn't do that to him, but at least play out next year (it's not like hes making vet min) and then get the big extension instead of picking up the option.
Either way, I'm sure the contract will lessen the cap hit for this year either way.
I just hope we still have money to sign a top CB or OL this offseason

What a laugh -- getting bosa for 18m.
Each leg is worth that.
