Exactly.

Paraag coming in at $20M. j/k...he won't even offer him a contract.

Why is that our starting point? TJ out played Bosa last year. 21 sacks to 15. 48 tackles to 40. In fact, he's played as well or better than Bosa for the last 3 years.

Cause as the salary cap goes up so do contracts. An agent and top players job is to keep on raising the bar on how much the top guys are making at their position so the lower tier guys can ask for more money themselves. So while TJ Watt is amazing and has performed better than Nick it's Nicks job to raise that bar.

You raise the bar with performance not existence. If you look at the salary cap increase as a %, sure you can raise it up that much, but then you look at the performance and decrease it that much.

You saying Bosa hasn't performed? Look man I'm not gonna debate this with you. Nicks gonna be the highest payed defensive player

I'm saying that Bosa's best year has been TJ's average year. Yes, he's performed, but he's not the best DL in the NFL. He doesn't deserve to be paid that way. I think it needs to be close to the TJ deal..but no not more.

That doesn't mean you're wrong. I've seen a lot of things happen in the NFL that didn't make sense.

but stats
I gave you stats too.

This is one little snap shot. TJ is double teamed .15 to Bosa's .25. TJ wins more than Bosa. Look at the scale of that chart. Position on the chart does not mean value. It may be more important to be successful than to deal with double teams. Or at least on the scale of double teams they are showing. There's a whole discussion to be had on the value of this "stat". There's a lot of missing info there even with that focus..and it neglects a lot of other things. Like tackling. You can lose on a pass rush and still get the tackle or assist.

and that stat doesn't justify 21 to 15.

i f**king joked about how people were gonna try and find reason to not want to pay Nick Bosa and man we are starting early.

I want to pay the man. I don't want to make him the richest DL in the NFL. Not the same effin thing and you know it.
If we fck up bosa the entire front office needs to be fired.

I'm sure the Bosas agent agrees with you cause that's what matters.

Well none of it matters if you wanna go there. We're talking about money that we don't get to pay, receive or spend.
