Superstar (non)call. Glad he got it. Hopefully it gets to the point where Nick throws up both arms and that's an automatic offensive holding.

Tough to call intent on a play that quick so they let it stand. It was definitely a reflex trip, but TBH its kind of weird that tripping isn't allowed. You can trip someone with your arm, but not your leg? If the OL is now allowed to hold pass rushers whenever they want, pass rushers should be allowed to trip.
Last year Bosa chased a QB out of bounds, but they awarded the sack to Armstead for some reason. This was just a cosmic make up sack to me.

Can't let players trip other players with their legs. Really dangerous slippery slope to allow players to kick others' legs.

Every DB would be in press man with zero fear of being beat on the line.

Seeing as this season is going to be relatively pointless, I will start focusing on Bosa's sack pace this year as something to be excited about. So far hes on pace for 22.5 sacks. Obviously thats tough to maintain, but he's got a shot because he's pretty consistent week to week. He's not a guy who goes hot and cold.
At his current CAREER pace, he has 28.5 regular season sacks in 35 full career games. That is a sack every 1.23 games. If he plays a full 17 game schedule for 8 more years at that pace, so ages 26-33 seasons, plus what he does the rest of this year, he will record 184.5 more sacks in that span. Add to his current total of 28.5, he is technically on pace for 213.0 career sacks, which would break Bruce Smith's all time record.
Being healthy for 17 games a year for 8+ more seasons is obviously far from guaranteed, but it goes to show how great he has been through his first 2+ seasons. His pace might slip as he ages a bit, but he could also play past age 33. Either way he could become the 49ers all time sack leader as early as 2026.

Records would be broken for longest games and most laundry on the field.

You guys need to stop with the Bosa nut hugging. Complaining that he isn't getting holding calls isn't a cop out to why we lost. I watched McGlinchey hold Randy Gregory on three different occasions. Offensive linemen hold...all the time...

Regardless of who chases the guy whoever is closest to the qb when he runs out of bounds gets credit for the sack. AA might have just been in a lucky position.

Speaking of CC, did you all hear him jizzing his pants when Jimmy stepped on the back line causing the safety. What a dick.
