Nick has done a great job of playing smart and protecting himself since he tore his ACL. I noticed last year he started tackling with bent knees to avoid contact to his lower joints.

Let's change history and then future trip a little and play the fabulous game of "would if".

Imagine us not trading Buckner and not trading up for Lance. Would if...

We were still on the D-line hype and took Micah Parsons at 12 (where he was taken) and kept our two first rounders. We would have the same QB we have right now with Bosa, Buckner, and Parsons on the D-line but no Kinlaw.

Would it even matter who our QB is right now? LOL

Yes because Jimmy would still screw it up. It's the most important position on the football field, You can't hide the QB. Eventually he is going to have to make plays at crucial times. In Today's NFL the defense can only do so much. And if they are always on the field, Even a generational defense can have issues later in games as we saw in 2019. Especially when you are playing against elite QB's.

OK got it, back to the time machine...

Would if we also got Matt Stafford?

We would not have our 1st round picks (same ones we gave up for Lance minus the pick used for Parsons) but we would be in good shape roster wise.

Yea Nick got away with there. It was a blatant trip

Superstar (non)call. Glad he got it. Hopefully it gets to the point where Nick throws up both arms and that's an automatic offensive holding.

Tough to call intent on a play that quick so they let it stand. It was definitely a reflex trip, but TBH its kind of weird that tripping isn't allowed. You can trip someone with your arm, but not your leg? If the OL is now allowed to hold pass rushers whenever they want, pass rushers should be allowed to trip.

Last year Bosa chased a QB out of bounds, but they awarded the sack to Armstead for some reason. This was just a cosmic make up sack to me.

Regardless of who chases the guy whoever is closest to the qb when he runs out of bounds gets credit for the sack. AA might have just been in a lucky position.

It should go to whoever forced the QB out, not who was closest at the end. Either way Bosa lost a sack he deserved, so I have no issue with him getting away with the trip.
Can anyone confirm that bosa is leading the nfl with 6 sacks
I saw on Twitter that he had 14 pressures
