Good to know he's healthy enough to practice but it's not the worst thing in the world to sit out a week to ensure you're fine. Sometimes coaches and trainers need to protect players from themselves.

pretty sure you weren't afraid of Fields also
I'd put Nick on a pitch count. Third downs only and if the game is in hand, he gets a ball cap and a tablet and a pat on the back.

Just sit him and get him ready for the Chiefs. They are going to need that pash rush vs Mahomes.

I hope they keep him out. They have other players to rely on. Ebukam. OmeniWHO. Give extended snaps to Drake Jackson. Send Hufanga on a blitz package. The 49ers have all sorts of options.

So true. Fields was hot garbage vs us. EVERY TD they scored was ONLY bc we had a personal foul/penalty AFTER stopping them on third down. Fields only completed 2 passes past the line of scrimmage vs us. So it's so ridiculous to make that comparison

Glad he's back at practice so it can't be that bad. I would handle his groin with kid gloves. Mariota doesn't scare me.
In all seriousness, I agree that they don't need to play him against the Falcons. It's better to get him healed up for the long-term.

A player of Bosa meticulous nature you just ask him if he's good. If he says yes you let him go, if he says no you sit him
Bosa is built different and he trains differently. This is one instance you just ask the player and roll with what he says

If he's cleared to play then his groin is probably about 85% good I imagine. Sometimes these guys have to be protected from themselves against their own will, George Kittle the case in point. They won't let him go if there's any risk of making it worse.

Would love him to play if he swears he's good, he's gotta know this team needs him for where they wanna go. If hes 70% rest him and get him for KC. Gotta hope the depth comes thru, we can't afford anymore bs losses to teams we have no business losing to. Can't do the spend the whole playoffs on the road again

Good to see he can go. Have him dressed in case we need him in the 4th qtr. if we don't have him rest.
