This season is probably his absolute peak in terms of skill, youth, athleticism, drive (pre-pay day), and length of time since a major injury. Everything is prime right now. That's why I put money down. It seems like a confluence of several factors.

He still should be one of the best DEs for the next 5 years, maybe longer as he'll have excellent "old man strength" in his 30's.

But he's a speed/power rusher right now, which means he's literally one of the most valuable players in the league.

It's now a 2 horse race and the cowboys have more nationally televised games. But Bosa leads in all relevant categories and should have another big week this week. Hopefully another big week can put him into front runner status.

You guys really want him to win DPotY and get paid billions of dollars and hurt the 49ers cap? Let him have an awesome season but get robbed of the award. Then he can't use it at the negotiating table and comes back in 2023 pissed off.
