Maybe he can kick Pettis in the butt!
Quiet night, although he seemed to give GB a longer field than the GB punter gave the 9ers from what I was able to determine.
Had a good night. Kicked it long when needed, pinned within the 15 on another. Kicks also had great coverages.

Yet the dude in the Sacramento Bee gave him and McLaughlin a B. Chase kicked all his field goals and tries and Mitch nailed them back every time with a 50 yard long being the best
My buddy was at the game, said you could notice the difference in leg strength between Mitch and the GB punter. Actually he said he was one of the better players on our team.... but I think he had been drinking the craft beers ha!

BTW, who cares about average distance? Its more about Net average, and % of punts inside the 20. Wishnowsky is 11th in net yds at 42.3, and there are only 4 guys with 43+.

He has also landed 13 of his 25 punts inside the 20, which is above 50%, and very good.

Grant just can't stand the overall positivity, so he has to try and nitpick the rookie punter's avg distance.

Constantly demonstrates his lack of understanding of the game. It's nice to have a punter that doesn't just boom it unconsciously for a great distance with horrible net average.

McL has been an excellent pick-up.

Week after week I see all these guys missing FG's and this guy has missed one big one but he nailed them last night.
Man Wish is killing it,

There is only 2 or 3 punters in the NFL that have neutralized punter returners like he has.

When your talking about players that have 30 or more punts, there are only 2 other guys that have held punter returners to under 50 yards total, and had his level of punts inside the 20 with out TBs.

Wish was a dream pick up for a 4th rounder

Well, you don't hear that every day.

He had a good night tbph. GB had - 3 return yards and Mitch had a net avg on his 4 punts last night of 46.3 ypp. To put that in perspective the league leader in net avg is Skins punter Tress Way with a net of 44.2 ypp. Wish is 6th overall in net average on the season, kid has been a solid draft pick.

Overheard at Disney World last weekend some young whipper snappers who were referring to someone as "boomer". I pulled the young fella aside and had to ask what he meant. He said instead of calling him old timer or old man or whatever, that this is what they call anyone older than a teenager.

It makes sense that Mitch is called Boomer since is was drafted at age 27 which is old and that his leg booms the ball and that he is an Aussie where male kangaroos are known as boomers.
