Waited all season to boom it out of bounds in THIS game...

Hope he got it all out of his system now.

WTF, that was one of the ugliest kicks I've ever seen, looked like a little kid trying to kick using a tee for the first time. This guy has been shaky all season in every facet he's involved, hope he locks it down and comes up big in playoffs.

I hope we only see him on kickoffs in the playoffs

Yeah that'd be nice, buuuut....I have no idea actual stats but my sense is he's been decent on the shorter punts dropping them around 10-15 yd line, but not real good when Niners need a boomer to flip field position.

And also seems like a fair number of his kickoffs only make it to the 5-10 yd line which I don't know, maybe ST coach is calling for a short kick on some of those. But overall he's gotta be towards the bottom in touchback avg. Like I said, hoping he turns it around and is nails in postseason.

Definitely a waste of a 4th round pick tbh. Ok player, terrible value. Wish Andy Lee in his prime were here right now
what the f**k actually happened on that kickoff?!?

It was bound to happen, dude been trash on kickoffs all season
What the hell was that kickoff out of bounds and give them the ball on the 40 yard line?....... I really hope he doesn't do this in the playoffs. Wow. I can't say I have a high amount of trust in him. Lets hope he tightens it up for the playoffs.

I was wondering if he was trying to pop it high and drop it somewhere? A really crappy kick.

It obviously went off the side of his boot. It was his only duff kick all year. Not sure if he is being coached to kick it short but he was landing some behind the line.

He did a nice 51 yard punt today but the gunners were missing the returner when it mattered.

All of special teams, but Mostert, need to lift their game.
I had no problem with this pick. A good punter can be huge to flip the field and pin an opponent deep. I just have not seen the value at this point. Not to mention the atrocious kick out of bounds at a key moment in the game. Giving a team another 15-20 yards with the clock ticking down is unacceptable.
He was at least better than Pinion, which was the minimum bar he needed to clear this season. Now he needs to deliver in the post-season and improve next season.

He's been okay but not the leg power they were advertising. He hasn't been bad. I think tonight may have been his worst game.

Problem is you don't draft an okay punter in the 4th round

I'm not even mad they drafted him that high tbh. His leg isn't as strong as I thought.

Personally, I think he's got a really strong leg. He just doesn't boom it every time in order to not outkick his coverage.

There's been a few kicks that have made me , but it seems, to me, that he mostly goes for the short return/easy to cover route.

At the end of the day, it never feels like he makes an impact on the game, either flipping the field or pinning the opponent deep. Whether he is calculating or not its all about results and that to me is not obvious.
