Just to clarify, Aussie Rules and Rugby are different sports.

Rugby is played on a rectangular field and there isn't a heap of kicking.

Aussie Rules is played on an oval field about 180yds long and there's heaps of kicking in general play. That's why a lot of Aussies are naturally good punters. The game is basically punt after punt after punt with plenty of kicks going 60-80yds, sometimes more.

So we drafted a gay punter from Australia with our 4th rounder? Sweet!

At least I can convince myself the Pats would've taken him. That'll help me sleep better.

He's been the best punter un college for the last 3 years. He's fast and can tackle too. Picking him in the 4th was a good choice.
Y picking a player from the undrafted players then end up singing a player from free agent and cost us more money.

No Gay was the Kicker, he's going to Tampa
Yeah I don't mind where he was picked because if he's a ten year all pro type punter that's very important part of a team. People forget how andy lee kept field position to our advantage in his prime.

Only 2 big punts last year tho. Hoping he can dance on the big stage.

Doesn't need them. Not his game. His game is laser precision accuracy. King of forcing fair catches and coffin kicks. Plenty of leg though. Absolutely can uncork a 50+ yarder.

. Funny what stats are rated when the stuff that can win you games is more important.

Lol. I guess I meant 60+ yarders. With 2 other Aussie punters averaging over 50ypp last year in the NFL I expect more. He is of the same ilk.
