FWIW, PFF ranks him #5 punter in the league. Pinion is #2 but of course, he was going to cost more money than the FO was willing to spend at the time.

Among punters who also kickoff, he was #2.

What a dumb thing to be angry about. These picks have no value. They're inconsequential filler in trades. Famously used to draft 5th string players who flame out of the league in 2 years.

Brandon Lloyd had a solid career. So did Lance Schulters.

The overreaching point is well taken. Picks outside the top 75 are all lottery picks. If ya ge a good backup out of em you are doing better than most.
