At least Pats got an All Pro for their 2019 5th rounder Jake Bailey (23 years old). You can make make an argument that he may have been worth it, unlike our 80yr old punter. Zero all pro votes for 4th rounder Mitch this year.
But keep defending the pick.

Smooth aussie accent stole his girl.
Giant Aussie "leg" kept her coming back.

How many times do Mitch pin teams within the 10 yard line?

More than Andy Lee? I can't really remember anymore than maybe 2-3 times that Mitch pinned teams within the 10 let alone deep inside the 5
Pair that with his short kickoffs and it starts to feel like a 4th rounder was a bit expensive.

Lee 58 punts, 21 Inside 20
Mitch 66, 25 inside 20

Andy had at least 2-3 inside the 10 just against us this year. I just watched the Colts kicker pin Josh Allen inside the 5........It's not much to expect NFL punters to be able to pin teams inside the 10-15 on regular basis imo.

You can't tell that doesn't stir up some hate/resistance by folks thinking they are stealing local athletes jobs. I believe most locals welcome folks from anywhere as long they help the team win.
Could it be that some players struggle with living up to this growing movement?
Could it also be that some NFL coaches are still trying to adapt to how they can use this to their advantage?
Could it also be that local punters are also getting better with increased competition?
interesting that Pat McAfee has a big part to play in Prokick.
Whether Mitch shows something special or not only time will tell but one thing certain, no one really cares until he screws up.
