Got to kick the ball in the end zone - these run backs are exposing our ST.
Mitch's average is fair, about the same as Andy Lee for his career. But I thought we were going to be seeing all of these fancy punts, great coffin corner punts etc...

4th rd pick and can't even sniff the pro bowl. Leg too weak for kickoffs. Multiple years now. Guys definitely not improving, especially given how old he already is. Falling well short of draft status. Now cue the apologists and blind nationalists…

No sorry. It's never a good idea to draft a punter in the 4th. They could have waited. Niners need to draft on value and not on need/player.

Think he's a pro bowl alternate sooo

Yeah, what's up with the kick offs? They're barely making it to the 5 yard line.

The literal definition of sniffing the pro bowl. Got 7 alternates total including Wish, not bad. What I can't find is how many punter alternates there are. If its just Wish thats even more imressive to be the #2 guy in the NFC. Hopefully he moves up to starter next year.

Aren't there like 10 of those? Alternate whose a liability, especially on kickoffs. You must be so proud.

Whole thing becomes a farce, since he can't hold a candle to guys like Dickson. Joke if he's mentioned even in the same sentence.

Cool story dude. Why doesn't your boy Dickson handle kickoffs and holding for FG's. Maybe if he did he could be as cool as Wish.

Well, according to Kyle , something like 37 punts have been muffed or fumbled over the last two seasons. Have to check the "2 seasons" part but that is what i thot i heard. In any event, kyle has NOT been saying anything about the weird way "wobblers" come down, or WHERE they come down…in the WHERE case , you know that was a wobbler when the PR players sets up under the exceptionally high punts and by the time that sucker is about to be caught, the PR has to move 3,4 or 5 steps. That tells you right there that there was plenty of "English" or "mustard" or hot sauce on that football.

I posted awhile back that if that were the case, ie, WISH was serving up a bunch of "Wobble" kicks , i doubt kyle would advertise it. Sure enough it wasn't until he got a face to face question about wobblers, that he gave the info above on # of muffs and fumbles.

pretty much what one would expect from kyle…don't help your opponents by giving away team info…unless he has to

So he shanked a punt. Big woop. I'm more worried about our QB than our normally reliable punter

Do most teams have their punter do kick offs, or just us because we're afraid our big money place kicker will pull a muscle or can't tackle ?

Gould does some of the kick offs including the big return in TEN. He seems to struggle more thean wish on getting out the back of the end zone. I guess he was used to Pinion taking the kick offs and he is getting old and redundant now.
