Which punt in the last game was worthy of dropping him?

Was outshined by udfa rookie! You apologists who keep saying he's going to improve are delusional. Guy's in his late thirties.

So you have no answer, got it. We just had another game, 5 punts. Which one points to him needing to he dropped? Lemme guess, no answer

You're excited about preseason? Really? Kory Sheets much?
Old man's leg is too weak to hold up for a season. Forget arm fatigue, more like leg fatigue in spades! Even had to take away his kick off duties. Too inconsistent for a 4th rounder.

Listen to yourself, you're actually shilling for a punter. Now go ahead and tell us why Luke Longley deserves the hall of fame.

And I was correct. NO ANSWER
You do know punters aren't RB's right? And punters also don't normally do kick offs right? You refuse to evaluate his actual punts which is telling.

Is that why he's never been All Pro, because people don't evaluate his punts? How many times has he made the pro bowl? Anything short of that each year is a fail for a 4th round punter.
Could've kept Solly since he was a serviceable rotation peace, but that's not the standard for a high draft pick. That's why he was let go.
You guys are defending Mitch Longley because he's serviceable at best. Seriously? True blue bias at its best.

It does get pretty nonsensical yet somehow comical to see irief say he's in his "late 30's" when a very simple web search showed, nope, he's 30 on the nose. I guess you turn 30 and in a year or 2 you're 40 now. Then doubles down and talks about his "old man leg".

Maybe we can swing a deal for draft crush Ariza and deal with all of that at this time. Take him off Buffalo's hands.

FWIW, I don't particularly care. He's a punter and does his job overall well enough. It is vaguely amusing to see people still with a chip on their shoulder that he was drafted in the fourth round 3 years ago. Like an old man complaining about the bad cup of soup he had in the deli back in the 80's.

Imagine drafting a punter in the 4th who's already in his thirties before his first contract is up. Thanks for helping me make the point.
Laughing at the thought of Mitch complaining about bad soup from eighties. Lol.

Okay. You're either purposefully trolling (my guess) and exaggerating for effect or you're blatantly obtuse and stupid.

Points for sort of trying to be humorous if it's the former. If it's the latter, well, my sympathies for that and that you're that hung up over a punter whose basic job is don't mess up too badly. Ideally, he's got a cannon and always or almost always flips the field. If he does his job pretty competently you're generally okay as a team. Mitch does that.

Mediocre at best. Not even top ten. Can find multiple udfa's any given year to replace him and not miss a beat or even upgrade. Fail for 4th rounder.

He's in the Solly category, but Solly's shills weren't as bad.

Cannon? They even took away his kick off duties! Remember those weak kick offs? You must think Nick Mullins had a Howitzer.

Wouldn't mind getting younger at the punter position

Feels like a lifetime since we last had a good punter.

Crazy thing is Pinion is a few years younger than Mitch, even though he was draft years before him.

Ok I get it. all the best of the Zone are in on the Punter thread advocating Pinion to get the team to the SB win number 6. Do you think we got swap him for Bosa?

I say we trade Atlanta Bosa, Warner, Lance and Williams to get Pinion. He's clearly the reason Tampa won the SB two years ago, which is why they tried so hard to keep him.

And Williams too......man now you've gone too far. Its just a punter. But.... If they put Mitch in as a LB then I'm ok with Williams going.

Listen to yourself...lol.

You've gotten very excited by a couple of punts...LOL. Get over yourself bro. MW can punt just fine, maybe not the biggest punt but punts that do what they are supposed to do.

And Hayne as HC and Longley as GM. Dynasty!

Wishnowski is easily top ten.
