It was indeed cool

lol John Lynch saying "mate" sounded like the equivalent of a dorky dad trying to use ebonics.

Look Americans should not try to do Australian accents. It just does not work, unless you are Robin Williams he came mighty close but no one else has.

As for the Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi Oi Oi, just don't do that either. It was cute they did it here but generally it is what the bogans do - like those really deep wood hillbilly deliverance banjo playing types but the Australian equivalent.

This guy Mitch is the real deal and he will limit the damage when we are out of field goal range and keep them pinned within their ten. That is why Lynch, Shanahan and York are pumped.

I thought Robert Downey Jr did pretty good in Tropic Thunder.

As for the Aussie, Aussie , Aussie thing, I guess it could be seen as a bit cringy but this is all about chasing an inflated pigskin around and advancing it past an imaginary line so I see it as a bit of fun and don't take it too seriously. These guys are all footballers (ie. bogans) in one way or another after all, haha.

RB: We acquired plenty of experienced RBs.we need them, therefore we have to pay the price.
Punter: Not a fan of the pick either. However, that guy from Seattle proves last season that very good punters are worth the money or a high pick.
FB: Juice is THE fb Shanahan wanted and needed.

This guy, Oscar whatever, is blacklisted now.

Looking at what Tucker and Gastowski just got paid, the f tag on Gould doesnt seem so bad at all now.

Yeah Robert Downey Jr does it better then Robin Williams. He had it down pat. So 2 out of 300 million.

Same as with punting. Americans cant really punt. But Australians can. Now there are 3 in the NFL. More will come.

Every one of "this Oscars" points are valid.

Seems like Kyle is putting money into RB's instead of into the O-Line. And with this being such a passing league, and our passing protection sucks ass, it really doesn't make sense. Yes I understand running/passing goes hand in hand in this offense but if Jimmy gets tagged and is down again this year, it'll make for another fun year.

And the FB... yes he is overpaid.

The pats can do that. they do not have multiple holes to fill like we do. trent drafts a punter and lots of folks go nuts. lynch does it and its fine. lol. since this guy kicks off and is a holder . i could have gotten behind this had they traded robbie to someone for a fifth round pick saturday . but to do this. this early. like trent did. is just dumb. given our needs along the offensive line and secondary. oh the iowa guard is a very good guard and i have hopes for him

I hate this pick but about the Better Rivals Podcast and their "overdraft/overpay crusade", they´re the same guys that wanted the niners to trade down even with Bosa or Quinnen there at two.
Actually, they prefered to draft one of Greedy Williams, Deandre Baker or Byron Murphy in the first round.

This. We tried to get the Pats kicker, they signed him. We take the punter they wanted so they traded up to get next best guy, makes sense

You have the #2 pick in the 4th round and you draft a punter? This is the kind of move that gets people fired down the line.

No....people might get fired down the line, but it won't be for missing on a 4th round pick.

Todd Licht used a 2nd rounder on a kicker that was an utter and absolute disaster, still has his job years later.

Imagine being upset we took a Pro Bowl caliber punter instead of a 3rd string DB.
Once again, if this guys turns out to be a great punter for us - which is very important for a team to win - then who gives a flying f**k if he was drafted in the fourth.
