I think a lot of us remember the days when Andy Lee and Gore were the only 2 players really worth a s**t on the roster. This guy is an absolute monster and his punting is such an unheralded part of the team . Hope he's on the roster for the next 5+ years.

I remember a forum was named Monday morning punter in honor of Lee and as a shot at how terrible our QB play was.

We were so bad Andy Lee made me really begin caring about punters. Prior to that, I paid no attention to the position. A punt was just an intermission until the defense started their show.

Interesting that it took a couple of seasons for the ST coaching change to flip this phase on its head for the niners. Now on to build Moody in to his potential and maybe one day.........dare I say it.....a fake punt.
