Every ounce of press on the guy shows him to be exceptionally talented....uniquely talented....and people still want to complain.

the 49ers got an amazing punting prospect....end of story.....

Lots of people still enamored with all the future All Pro guards and cornerbacks that the 49ers could have acquired in the 4th round apparently.

Or the future Pro Bowlers on the IR for the past few years.

This is something that kind of wigs you out. You see this guy kicking right footed, and then suddenly when he is trapped and running L, bam...out comes the L footed kick. I laughed when i first saw it but bet your bippy, kyle uses this somehow this yr....and more than once , too.

ehh....i don't own a bippy.......

Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In?

Used in the 50s when i was a kid. Definition: probably ""rear end"

Guy's got it together, that's all I've got to say.
It's over. We drafted him so let's move on to worrying about how Jimmy and the rest of the injured guys are going to be this season. I'm way more concerned about the guys we have then the ones we might have taken with that 4th pick.

Someone went through the trouble to crunch some numbers and concluded that a 49er 4th rounder has a 83% bust rate. I look at that as a 17% hit rate that I wouldn't mind taking a flier on with a mid 4th rounder. The draft experts said that there was value in the mid rounds. I wouldn't know, but it's not like there is a lot of competition at backup OG/OT/FS. A gamble on a mid 4th round OL/DB might amount to something that's better than Magnusson, SColeman, Exum.

"Well which player would you have taken?". I don't know. My big board consisted of 2 prospects (Bosa, QW) so I never scouted the top 150. That's for Kyle to trust his scouts and take a BPA at a non-ST position. Then go ahead and settle for a middling punter in the 7th/UDFA.

Goldson, Michael Robinson, Sopoaga, and Looney out of 23 picks since 2000.

I could've possibly included Bruce Ellington, I suppose, but seriously the vast majority of those picks never made the team or hardly played if at all.
A small excerpt from The Examiner ...

Watching Wishnowsky bomb punts on a side field, one 49ers vet said, "He's kicking the s*** out of the ball."

He wasn't the only one taking notice of Wishnowsky's leg, as there were multiple 'oohs' and 'ahhs' during special team work, where rookie receiver Deebo Samuel fielded Wishnowsky's drives.

Sounds like the boys are impressed.

Reports were that Deebo took a few off the facemask. Someone needs to remind him that when a ball returns from the mesosphere, it returns frozen.
