Quite possibly. Players like Kupp who are stop and start on a dime would be prized over bigger more physical players. In a way they already are..

Yup. The game has really changed since the 80's and 90's.

Speaking of Kupp we should ask him if he wishes that defender would lowered his helmet and went higher on him for the hit.
I got mad respect for Greenlaw. You can tell from the way he plays that he's clearly not worried about his post-football health.

KS isn't worried about it either

That's b******t because the players are being paid millions of dollars. No one is forcing them to play. It is also hypocritical of the league as well. Playing the teams on Thursday is worse for player safety after not allowing enough rest. Once the league turns into flag football is beginning of the end for the NFL.

Neither is the league. LOL
Very good hit on Herbert. Herbert was out before half time and was never the same in the second half 🤣

That was a GAME CHANGER.

Greenlaw has ALWAYS BEEN a rough player definitely 110% better than Bobby useless Wagner the Lambs over paid for a over the hill loser at this point 🤣

The league.. I would say is they are the one body trying to say what Dre did isn't right and shouldn't be permitted.

KS on the other hand was furious he got ejected. KS saw no wrong and is in the players corner.. meaning I don't expect any changes from Dre going forward, team or his own health be darned..

I knew it was all f**ked when nflpa and nfl agreed the players have a special higher level of HGH in their bodies... lol. ?!!??

That crap started in the late 80's and really took off the in the 90's. That's why these guys now obliterate each other because they are all freakishly strong and fast. How the hell is a 310 pound man running that fast lol

I always tell my friends if we want old school football when defenses could actually cover and tackle they need to ban all performance enhancers. Watch 98% of these guys shrink to the norm with the occasional naturally gifted freak.
Good hit
Do you think they have a chance to keep this linebacker core together?

when dre a high level lb went out al shazir or whatever his name is comes in and they don't miss a beat. Is there a way we keep this guy, extend aiyuk and bosa? Seems like the rams somehow do it every year

beat linebacking core imo

No it was NOT a justified ejection. Penalty, yes, but not something egregious that warrants an ejection. Troy Vincent made a stupid call last night, and of course the league brass is going to back him up with the "flagrant" comments. This is so stupid

They already extended Greenlaw through 2024.

Not saying it was justified (ejection) but I did in real time recognize that the delay means he is potentially being ejected. It's a borderline play. I think more often than not it is no ejection but Herbert as a FQB makes it an ejection. Hard to say you can do that to a guy like Mahomes/Lance/Fields and remain in the game. That might become a tactic.. see for example the old school NO Saints. Get a free shot like that every now and again take the yardage penalty and remain in the game. Not cool. League has an incentive to prevent that play from happening and I get it.
