On a side note: Oren Burks and Jauan Jennings are the true unsung hero's of this club. Burks has like 10,000 snaps thanks to Greenlaw's injury history + stupidity and Jennings because of Ray-Ray's injuries. Both just come in (or play more) and don't miss a beat like they've been there before...b/c they have. A 100 times.

This. Absolutely no business putting his hands on Greenlaw and pushing him. Instigated that whole exchange.

The penalty was right on. No way should Greenlaw have been tossed for being involved in an altercation with someone that had no business being involved in an altercation with a player in the first place.

This is where i fell on this. If he was just doing what many do, the old get between with a arm on each, not as big of a deal.

But, he pushed while staring in a stand off type posture, pretty sure he was talking s**t.

I do think the NFL needs to send a message.
Fine the organization, the coach, and ban the person from the sidelines forever.
Look, my loyalty to Dre is unquestionable. But he has to be smarter then he was throughout the whole ordeal.

That angle is not as bad in my opinion. He did put himself between, just all the other angles i saw i never saw smith there.
NFL needs to fine itself for ejecting Greenlaw. Piss poor mistake by the league and what's bad about it., it came from the NFL headquarters.

I wonder if they thought he was a coach, but did not want to undue the ejection when they realized their mistake.

Yeah, during the live game I was saying there's no way the league would throw Greenlaw out, and sure enough moments later they did. Not saying DG was right in doing that, but I felt like he took it as close to the line as you can without going over.

Bad decision by the league.

SIDENOTE:

it was at this minute of the game when Philly was BEGING AND BEGING for the call that everyone knew that the Niners are the REAL DEAL!! You could see the fear in the Philly staffs eyes!!!

I wish the team would have went to the endzone after Deebos last TD and just started chanting "five seven" to show their support for Greenlaw. We were screaming it with fans where we were at just to make the point that, that was a BS ejection in this big of a game.

And Gene Steratore was saying it shouldn't be an ejection. Definitely a penalty, but ejection was BS.

For being such a cocky, wannabe tough guy, he's a major b***h.

Looked like he apologised for the incident to Kyle at the halfway line.

Wasn't that Kyle talking to him? I heard him say sorry as well but thought Kyle was doing talking.
Love Greenlaw but that was a bonehead move.
