He had some soreness but nothing injured.

He played better than I expected. He didn't show any signs of rust other than the soreness he experienced after the half.
The run defense is night and day with him in there, Fred Warner trusts him to clean up helping him to focus on coverage

As soon as Hufanga got injured last year many on this board been trying to write off the impact he's had on this team. Hes been a difference maker from the moment he entered the starting lineup. His injuries of late are the only downside.
If we could get Mustapha, Hufunga, Winters, Greenlaw and Warner all healthy at the same time our run game problems would disappear. As long as Brown and Campbell are playing, we are going to have problems. Campell should be given a bus ticket to Canada.

Dre Greenlaw IS the priority this season. I'd even risk the Purdy thing over this. Do what you need to do to keep him
