"Big Play" Dre Greenlaw-OLB-Arkansas is a 49er

I really hope we can work something out, He'll be 28 next season, and probably looking for good money, and he will have other suitors. You have to think guys like Demeco, Carthon, and Peters, will be hunting for him. Maybe even McDaniel, these guys know whats up. SF should move quickly.

We spent all our money on offense. Hope they can keep Dre but I don't see it. I think one of those other teams will come calling ASAP.

I hope signing Greenlaw is a priority. His play Thursday night proves it. We looked like our old self's wth him and Huff. Purdy should either take an offer of 50M or we bring in a rookie and a vet. The D is on fire wth Huff and Greenlaw, we cannot afford to lose them.

I don't know in what world you prioritize Purdy over greenlaw. He actually adds juice to this team. He's arguably a top 3 important player to this current team.

Look I Like Purdy but he's draining all the resources away from other needs. I believe he's had a bad year but will he be worth 60 Mil a year if he demands it? Greenlaw and Hufanga changed the defense. After watching Campbell (I have a loose tampon so need to go to the locker coach) and Jiyar miss tackle Brown. I'm going with signing those guys first then let's look at where we can for Brock's salary.

Yeah it does seem counter intuitive to look away from the QB but we need to start looking at what's important. I just don't know if Purdy will bounce back to re take control of the offense. He had good stats but could not get above the loses at the end of games this season. As others have said I don't know if it's his arm is injured or he's just off.

If we didn't spend all our money on offense we wouldn't be able to put up such big numbers against the rams

That's the traditional answer, sure. But in the one game they shared the field together greenlaw was much more of a value add than purdy.

Which team would prioritize a RB over a franchise QB? I can tell you one team that wished they would have. The giants

One reason the Pats wrestled able to win for so long is they didn't spend all their money on the QB. They often had avergae offenses but their defense always kept them in games.This is whyif I was Purdy I'd be willing to accept a lower number. He can't win without a good defense getting him field position. He's not the type of QB that can win many shootouts. We lost Buckner, Armstead and Jones because they prioritized offense . They can't afford to lose Greenlaw.

How did it work out having Greenlaw in but Purdy out in the 2022 NFC CG?

Dre Greenlaw is a must have, must keep player. We should have tried to keep Aziz as well.

Finding LB's is tough for us all of a sudden. Winters and co. aren't really popping of the screen to me.

Any idea what his annual salary may be? He is coming off a major injury and may never be the same tbh

He just got back on the field. He's probably not in shape at all at this point. Still looked like one of the best on the field.

We have plenty of guys that can't seem to make it through a game/season.
