Yeah. This sucks man. Greenlaw and Warner are so complimentary together. And we just saw how this defense looks when we don't have 2 good LBers.

For most of the year we had one good linebacker and one crap linebacker. You could also say our good linebacker wasn't really playing to the top of his game considering he was hurt. If the 49ers can find just an above average linebacker to play next to Fred that would be great. That's assuming Greenlaw is gone.

I'm not sure teams will spend big money on him. Maybe a 1 year prove it deal? I mean, his first game because he got injured again during the 1st half and needed to be shut down for the remaining of the season.

I don't get how the team can see how he played in the first half against the Rams and then say they can replace him.
It's not just his play but it's the intensity he brings to the defense.
You can't replace him, even with a blue chip talent.

Yup. And imagine what he will bring to that team if he is healthy. It would be a great addition to them. I just hope he doesn't end up on an NFC rival.

BS. We have holes to fill many places. Look at injuries, recurring and not. We have to pay Brock, fix OL. Do some defensive line work. Money doesn't grow on trees any longer. Look at a few other free agents.
This team needs to get younger even if fan feelings get hurt.
